I was really pleasantly surprised! 🎮 The gameplay is very well done — everything feels smooth, responsive, and the combat keeps you engaged. ⚔️ At its core, it’s a pretty standard RPG: character selection, leveling, quests. But you can tell it was made with love — there’s atmosphere, great music, and all those little details that make the world feel alive. 🌌 Overall, it’s classic RPG done right. Totally recommend it to all fans of the genre! 💫

I started gaming when I was like five years old, the first console I owned was one of the Atari systems, with graphics that had black and white graphics, with bars and balls representing the action, at the time it was glorious, then we graduated to the Nintendo Entertainment System, far greater graphics, sounds and gameplay then the old school Atari but I still wasn’t really hooked, UNTIL, the glorious day I got the original Sony Playstation, it was like a fire awoken inside of me and I wanted to do nothing but game, all hours of the day and night. This was also the time I discovered my love of J-RPG’s, starting with what I consider the grand daddy of all J-RPG’s Final Fantasy 7, the game was perfect in every way, I was completely hooked. For years I played every RPG I could get my hands on. That brings us to today, my love of RPG’s has diminished a bit but it’s still there, and I try to check out old school rpg’s from time to time. This time was The Chosen RPG. Story - The game starts with our Hero edge, wrapped in a dream about his missing father, upon waking up, Edge discovers some holy warriors are attacking his village trying to steal Excalibur so they can join Aurther on his quest to find the Holy Grail… Wait that didn’t happen at all, but if it did, it would have been “AWESOME” – The Miz Anyway, one thing leads to another and Edge finds himself on a journey, if you’ve ever played J-rpg’s before you already know what the journey is, he’s trying to find a way to save the world, possibly find his father and maybe bag some trim… Hey now, I did say Maybe Gameplay – The typical turn based RPG fare, Four basic options, attack, Special, Magic, Defend. The game has four party members, each has their own unique skills and magic. You fight random encounters as you wander around the map, collect currency, you can purchase items and equipment. The game has a level cap of 30. Pros Decent story all things considered Fun and somewhat challenging (occasionally) Easy 100%, Trading cards Cheap Price Cons Short (I’m thinking like 2 – 5 hours) Limited items, skills, equipment etc confusing map layout and limited directions Recommendation - The price is really affordable 1.99, if you like old school RPG’s this one might be worth a pick up. It’s a really bite sized adventure for less then you’ll pay for a cup of coffee. The short game can be appealing to some gamers. The fact it has trading cards, achievements adds +1 and easily a 100% game, the 1.99 price is exceptional. If you’re not a fan of j-rpg’s, then you might want to skip, the game doesn’t have enough content or good enough story to playthrough if you aren’t already a fan of that Genre.. Anyway, if you don’t already own the game go buy it now, if you do, maybe consider expanding that E-peen and get a super casual and easy to finish RPG

This game has a lot of grinding. If you like those kind of games, this is for you. For me, It's too much grinding, I've spend 3 hours playing just to level up to progress. What a waste. Tedious, constant need for grinding, and unengaging.
