The Castle Doctrine is a massively-multiplayer game of burglary and home defense. It's 1991, and things are bad. You're a guy with a house and family. Other players are coming to take what's yours. Build security to stop them. Study their houses, buy tools, and break in to take what's theirs.

♥♥♥♥ game
A cool idea in principle. Everyone builds a dungeon of traps and paths with a treasure hidden inside, and then tries to rob everyone else... except it's all dark and edgy. The reality is that people either half ass it or master building optimised unfun vaults. Personally I just wasn't down with the vibe it was putting out. Never struck me as fun at the time and has only gone on to become controversial.

i got bored really quickly,is a lot like an arcade game, fun but gets boring quickly
Nice game idea ruined by a Dev who refused to put his game on sale or add any quality of life features or updates in general.
i loved the gameplay but has no players anymore :[
One of the few games i regret buying. seemed promising at first but the lazy gameplay made it clear that this would only be mildly interesting for a very short period of time. takes an mmo format but began to lack players after only a few weeks. don't bother.
Very enjoyable game, get your revenge against Mr. Getz
Cryptic and ugly. No guide, no tutorial, no dev time was spent actually presenting what the game is. If you can figure it out and get some fun out of it, good for you. But I've got better things to spend my time on.
