POLYBIUS is a fast, trippy tunnel shooter playable on a normal screen or in VR. 50 levels of blissful trance shooting action are set to a blistering soundtrack. The PS4 version was EDGE Magazine's VR GOTY in 2017, and the PC version of the game was even used as the basis for a NIN music video.

If only all CIA experiments were like this
Polybius is a lot like Thumper. It's VERY fast at times and is a total experience. I was pretty confused in places, but I was having fun. Def an experience worth having for lovers of speed. Not sure if I will continue playing due to the sheer amount of stuff I have to get through, but this is something I could load up any day and have fun with.
this is what ur nan thinks video games are
Best played under the influence of a REALLY strong cup of tea.
Great game, works well with my arcade cabinet
Note: I'd suggest not playing this game if you have epilepsy (along with most games by this developer). ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This might be my favorite Llamasoft release. The game is a mix of Rez's psychedelic aesthetic and F-Zero's blazing-fast racing. What it amounts to is high-octane action. When you're driving through rings and dodging obstacles at top speed, it's genuinely thrilling; when you smack into something and slow down, it feels like a punch in the gut. For the best experience, try not to blink. A glorious assault on the eyeballs. Tip: If you're playing on Steam Deck, make sure to enable full-screen in the game launcher. Otherwise, everything might look pixelated.
Forget the screenshots to describe this game - you need to experience it in VR! The run from goal to goal, coupled with an incredible retro-style arcade soundtrack, is so much fun - it's so awesome! And for the old folks among us: you still remember ‘Attack of the Mutant Camels’, or its sequel ... then you've come to the right place. Llamasoft is still around and deserves your support - don't go away, buy this game and recognise the magic of the golden years in it. Thank you Jeff for still being active, love your game. Best regards, JJ

What an unbelievable hidden gem. I hope you have a gaming monitor, because a regular 60Hz display literally cannot keep up.
should have been called "i'm uncomfortably high in VR" 10/10
