I like that it becomes harder every stage. I like that I can buy different weapons and kill a lot of monsters. I like it a lot.

It's like Brotato took itself less serious, like a lot.

I like that you can actually break the game. Tons of weapons and items to figure out silly builds!

English review (versão pt-br mais abaixo) Key received for coverage purposes The Castle Burns it's one of those arena roguelikes with many enemies surround you and you hopefully plowing through their armies. The game has inspirations in others from the same genre but has it's own quirks too. your character only uses two weapons, but they're upgradeable per level up, thats also where you get your new rarer weapons too. The game uses a system of map, you pick where you want to go , each round is tagged from easy to super hard, which is the difficulty. You can choose of 3 maps each with its own quest but in a very similar go to the end and kil the meanie. We got some playable chars to choose and each have their own gameplay style, pros and cons. My machine is very old and ran the game reasnobaly well, tho some hiccups here and there. dev is trying to fix them. The game has that factor of "let me try once more" that games similar to this one want the players to feel and for a solo dev in their first game, it's a good starting point. Fun game and stuff.

I am really glad that it's not as easy as other games in the genre. However, I had to stop playing after just over an hour. After each level up, my controller received an unintended double input during weapon selection, causing good weapons to be discarded without being able to visually see them. This is very frustrating. Hopefully, there will be an update regarding this issue soon.
