Spandex Force: Champion Rising

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happineass of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay. After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like. Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends. Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together. Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that. Thank you.

A fun little game. Match 3 with a humorous backgroundstory and a bit of character customization. Achievements are broken though it seems. Get it on sale - I got it for 49Cents and can't complain, it's entertaining every once in a while.

รีวิว Spandex Force: Champion Rising จริงๆก็คือการเอา Spandex Force ภาคแรกที่ออกเมื่อ 7 ปีที่แล้วมาขายใหม่นั่นแหละ แต่โดยรวมคือเกมเรียงเพชรสไตล์ Puzzle Quest ที่ต่อยอด ยกระดับด้วยระบบใหม่หลายๆอย่าง เราเล่นเป็นซูเปอร์ฮีโร่ที่ช่วยเหลือคนกับปราบเหล่าร้ายด้วยมินิเกมเรียงเพชรที่มีหลายรูปแบบ พอชนะก็จะได้เงินมาซื้อของสวมใส่ให้แข็งแกร่งขึ้น เนื้อเรื่องออกไปทางตลกมากกว่า มีแต่ตัวร้ายนิสัยแปลกๆที่ไม่รู้ว่าน่าจับเข้าคุกตรงไหน แต่โดยรวมสนุก สนุกมาก ตัวเกมเวอร์ชั่นแรกที่ลงสตีมก่อนจะแก้เป็นเวอร์ชั่นนี้ จริงๆคือภาค 3 ก็เลยทำให้ Achievement ทั้งหมดไม่เด้ง เพราะจูนกับคนละเกมกัน ใครชอบเกมเรียงเพชรผสมเกมแนว RPG อยู่แล้ว ก็น่าจะชอบเกมนี้ด้วย แต่ต้องเสียเวลาทำความเข้าใจกับเกมซักหน่อย เพราะเกมมันแปลกจริงๆ (ตัวเกมจริงๆไม่เหมือนกับตัวอย่างในหน้าร้านค้า) แต่ถ้าอยากจะเล่น Spandex Force: Champion Rising ซึ่งเป็นภาคที่ 3 ของซีรีส์ และเป็นเวอร์ชั่นแรกสุดของเกมก่อนจะอัปเดตใหม่จน Achievement พัง เราสามารถโหลดเวอร์ชั่นแรกของเกมผ่าน Steam Console ในโปรแกรม Steam ได้ และที่สำคัญ Achievement ได้ครบทุกตัวด้วย เพียงแต่มันเป็นคนละเกมกัน (สรุปซื้อครั้งเดียวได้ตั้ง 2 เกม) -- สำหรับภาคนี้ เราจะได้เล่นเป็น หนุ่มขี้แพ้ ที่พ่อมดน้ำแข็งจะอาสาช่วยเปลี่ยนเราให้กลายเป็นซูเปอร์ฮีโร่ภายใน 30 วัน แต่ในความเป็นจริง ทั้งหมดเป็นแค่การท้าพนันในสมาคมฮีโร่ที่ท้ากับตัวร้ายว่าจะทำให้ดู ตอนจบในเกมมี 4 แบบ ขึ้นอยู่กับว่าเราจะทำตามคำสั่งของพ่อมดปากหมา/ เข้าสู่ด้านมืด/ หรือจะเป็นฮีโร่ที่เลือกเดินเส้นทางของตัวเอง โดยรวมก็เหมือนกับภาคแรก แต่เพิ่มระบบใหม่ๆเข้ามาอย่างเช่น ทำงานพิเศษ ออกกำลังกาย อ่านหนังสือ เพื่อเพิ่มทักษะให้เราแข็งแกร่งขึ้น เพื่อที่จะได้กำจัดบอสใหญ่ภายใน 30 วัน (ซึ่งถ้าจบภายใน 30 วันไม่ได้ ก็จะได้ฉากจบ Out of Time Ending ทันที) ความลับในเกมมีเยอะมาก มีเหล่าร้ายซุกซ่อนในเมืองให้เราสู้นอกรอบ มีสนามแข่งท้ายเกมให้เราสู้ฮีโร่ที่เก่งกว่า (แต่ไม่มีรางวัล) ควรหา เพราะนี่คือวิธีเดียวที่จะทำให้เราได้ Good Ending (คุยกับตัวร้ายหลังสู้ชนะ, ไปสมาคมฮีโร่ ดักฟังพ่อมดพูดความจริง) ส่วนมินิเกมไม่ได้มีแค่เรียงเพชรแล้ว มีต่อยต้นไม้ หลบรถพาคนแก่ข้ามถนน ภาคนี้เล่นจบไวกว่าภาคแรก แต่ต้องเล่นถึง 4 รอบ ถ้าจะเก็บ Achievement ให้ครบ สรุปใช้เวลาเล่นให้จบเท่ากัน และภาคนี้เน้นวางแผนบริหารจัดการเวลามากกว่าภาคแรก ถือเป็นอีกหนึ่งซีรีส์ที่ต่อยอดจาก Puzzle Quest แล้วทำออกมาได้ดีมากๆ สรุปสิ่งที่จะได้หลังจากซื้อเกมนี้ (ซื้อ 1 เกม ได้ถึง 2 เกม) - Spandex Force (2008) - Spandex Force: Champion Rising (2015) (ปลดล็อกโดยใช้ Steam Console ใน Steam)
