Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I know this game was a big change of pace from what normal xcom fans would be used to. That being said its actually a very good game. I think the only complaints would be that the mechanics of controling your teammates is a bit clunky but other then that the game is fantastic. This game will be liked much more if you are into real time strategy games and shooters instead of the calm turn based action that is customary with xcom games. Its high paced and fun and would suggest anyone to give it a try.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this game sucks
It’s so unfortunate I had to abandon this game part-way through. I love the idea on paper: a real-time third-person shooter with squad mechanics from the XCOM turn-based strategy games, where you can direct your troops into precise cover spots and call in their special abilities while working alongside them in the field. Too bad it’s ruined by the poor squad AI. Your teammates constantly get behind the wrong side of cover, run straight through enemy fire, and do other boneheaded maneuvers if you don’t constantly babysit them. The shooting portion doesn’t even feel great either. William controls very rigidly, turning slowly and taking too long to complete vault and cover animations. The shooting is okay but suffers from bullet sponge syndrome common in shooters with long time-to-kill. Enemies don’t seem to physically react to getting shot either. The game also lacks the resource management aspect of its isometric counterpart. As soon as you find a new weapon, you get an indefinite number of them to pass around your entire squad, rendering previous guns entirely obsolete. It’s not like Enemy Unknown, where you occasionally had to send in a rookie with an assault rifle because you didn’t have enough money for another laser gun yet. Even the permanent death of your teammates just doesn’t feel impactful. By the mid-game, you’ll likely have an army of high-ranking soldiers thanks to the unfailable dispatch missions. Topping it all off, The Bureau inherits several problems common in games of its time: -- Long stretches of running through empty hallways that serve no purpose beyond connecting the combat zones together -- Pointless attempts at worldbuilding through poorly-written dialogue trees you have to slog through -- A hub world far too big for the amount of content in it The game does have its moments. It’s genuinely satisfying to pull off long chains of squad orders, but all these issues firmly demote the experience from “fun little novelty” to “something you beat once and never touch again.”
Best XCOM game ngl, wish there were more like this

love the game . Has a few sound drops but i am sure ill find a fix .
Honestly, not terrible, but nothing worth getting into either. Maybe buy it on a massive sale? The gameplay is simply Mass Effect-style, but frankly, even on the hardest difficulty you can manage without it and make it just a simple third person shooter. The plot is a nothingburger, really predictable for the most part, no characters were memorable. And... there's really not much else to talk about. Nothing to complain about, but also not much to praise either, a 5/10 game. Probably not worth your time an money, but maybe, if you really like the world of xcom or the Mass Effect-style gameplay? I dunno.
