Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Pretty good honestly. The infusion of XCOM mechanics into the cover shooter gameplay works quite well, and the narrative and characters are solid enough. Definitely worth picking up on sale if you like your 360-era third-person shooters, the XCOM games, or both.
I could enjoy these games. They might be excellent, fun, innovative but none of that matters when they come bundled with pseudo-spyware, shady anti-cheat, or any intrusive software running in the background. I absolutely refuse to install anything that messes with my PC more than necessary. 2K and Gearbox for me are more than dead.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

While its "abdomination" to XCom strategy series (Laser Squad, UFO enemy uknown, TFD, XCom 1, Xcom 2) as separate game I love the FBI 60s US setting and some mixed FPS/strategy aspects. If on discount, give it a try, you might be surprised!
Dunno why everyone hates this game. Is it XCOM? Probably not. Is it fun? Absolutely. Side note: Ultrawide support here is trash, playing at 3440x1440 resolution will bring you frustration
I wanted to like this but the game balance is awful, it crashes on the first level unless you mess around with the physx dll that installs with the game. The AI is awful, the enemies are bullet sponges and the control system is beyond janky it is disgustingly badly implemented. It does manage to look good and what i could tell of the story could have been great, i love the xcom series. However the quality of this release does not live up to the rest of the series. It feels like it was trying to cash in on mass effect/fallout but they couldn't be bothered to polish it or put actual work and effort into the control system.
I’d definitely recommend buying this. It often goes on sale for very cheap and is a quick, fun play. I decided to 100% it. The game is very short, though—if you skip the side missions, it can be completed in about 3–4 hours. It also has some questionable DLCs, such as the Light Plasma Pistol. It’s alright, but not really worth being DLC, same with the 7-minute side mission “Code Breakers.” I do love the XCOM universe, though. This entry is semi-canon to the other games (only some parts are considered canon). Do keep in mind that the game can occasionally run terribly, and despite sharing the XCOM name this might as well be its own game it just shares some lore and enemies(seen reviews that say play XCOM enemy unknown instead which fair enough but this might as well be its own game). In summary: pick it up on sale if you like short, story-driven third-person shooters. I enjoyed it a lot.
Loved it, graphics still hold good after 13 years, loved the play style with 2 other agents, the guns, the fighting and the story was quite unique and interesting.
Picture this, it's been a long, tiring day and you just arrived home after work or school. You scroll through the latest sale, scroll again and then scroll some more and you go watch a stream instead. However, this time you decide to go to your old backlog or venture to older games and back to a simple era where games felt different. This was The Bureau: XCOM Declassified for me. If you are coming from the typical turn based isometric view then you won't find nothing similar in here, but to be fair it's well worth to give this one a try specially if you just want more XCOM and are willing to go to a third person mode with plenty more action. The game takes you back to the 60's where you are assigned to find much more than you were expecting. You will face a decent variery of enemies, you will learn new abilities from them, you will try and experience a different weaponry. It's you and two team members against your enemies and victory will happen if you keep you and your allies in cover, provide order to focus on certain enemies first while also using every ability to your advantage, and yes, both you and your allies will have plenty to learn and test on the enemies as you level up yourself as well your allies from different classes. When it comes to the variety of locations and the creativity of main missions you may not find nothing out of the extraordinary in here, but still it's a very enjoyable ride to go through. You will have your main missions ready to go but it's wise to explore and talk to your team after each mission at HQ. You can level up and dispatch team members to do some of the work for you and you can also expand your gaming hours by investing in optional side missions. These missions do not overstay their welcome and never reached a point where they took too long or to a point where there was too much to do so the quantity is spot on for quick and light gaming sessions. The 60's vibe feels honest when it comes to the locations and the outfits of your agents. The music and some side effects, for some reason reminded me of some episodes of the TV show called X-Files when they showed older scenarios of things they also could not explain. At about 10 hours I had done pretty much all there was to be done which means I haven't felt overwhelmed with boring tasks but also felt engaged on the story from start to finish. Performance wise I had no issues with the game aside of some error on my second session. It was very easy to solve this by copying the latest driver to the game's folder (there's a guide explaining this, don't worry). If you exclude that, I had a steady 60 FPS experience with no drops to a game that still holds up with modern games (if you keep your expectation in check, considering that this is still a game from the PS3/360 console era). Take your time, use cover wisely, try alien guns and don't forget to give proper commands to your squad and you will have a good time with it.
Come Back To Finish This Game Recently , Because Star Wars Zero Company Remind Me Of This Game .I Had To Say This Game Is So Difference From Xcom Because You Play In 3rd Person Pov Then U Can Also Control Your Teammate Where To Go And To Do . Overall The Story Are Still Better Than Many 3 A Games This Day But The Issue For Me Is Crashing Glad It Doesn't Bother Me Much
This is actually the only XCOM game that I had fun playing.
