About
The Brothers Hotel is a first-person psychological horror and environmental investigation experience where memory itself is the crime scene.
You play as Gabriel, a man drawn into the decaying halls of a cursed hotel whose walls remember more than they reveal. Every corridor is layered with ritual, trauma, and suppressed truth. The hotel is not abandoned it is preserved, waiting for someone to uncover what was never meant to be seen.
In this mystery, you are not merely an artist.
You are a forensic investigator of the subconscious.
To escape, you must use unconventional tools to expose hidden evidence, reconstruct fragmented memories, and connect the pieces of a legacy that refuses to stay buried.
🔍 Forensic Graffiti Investigation
Your spray can is not decoration it is detection. Paint walls, floors, and objects to reveal hidden messages, occult symbols, ritual markings, and invisible evidence left behind by the hotel’s former residents. What cannot be seen must be exposed.
🧩 Deductive Reality Manipulation
This is a game of interpretation, not reflex. Progress is locked behind understanding the hotel’s dark logic. By analyzing environmental clues and ritual patterns, you can alter reality itself unlocking sealed paths, shifting spaces, and exposing truths the hotel actively tries to conceal.
📓 Memory Reconstruction Through Art
Every stroke of paint recovers fragments of Gabriel’s lost past and the hotel’s violent history. These fragments act as living evidence. Actively piece them together to uncover the connection between the rituals, the hotel, and Gabriel’s true identity.
👁️ Crime Scene Exploration
Investigate scarred walls, sealed rooms, and abandoned suites that once hosted secret elite rituals. Study every detail carefully because not everything you see is real, and not every hallucination is a lie.
🧠 Psychological Deduction
As reality fractures and perception becomes unreliable, only a true investigator’s mindset will keep you grounded. Question every shadow. Challenge every memory. The truth exists but only if you’re willing to confront what your mind is hiding.
An innocent visitor?
A survivor?
Or the final, missing piece of the hotel’s most horrifying case?
Step inside.
Start painting.
Solve the legacy before it consumes you.

it bugged on me. won't let me put film in the projector :(
There is 0 consistency in this game. The story makes NO sense, audio is all over the place and I don't think Any sounds are really consistent to the environment- they're just on a random loop, none of the monsters really make sense, they used AI for the starting cut-scene, the models are all different sizes and none of them make sense to the player. (Example: there's a phone attached to the wall at the start that nearly touches the ceiling, while all the benches in the room are a little too small for the character. Which can be an artistic choice, but this obviously was not.) The Menu seems to have been reused, unless I missed a WHOLE lot while still getting 100%, because there's key remapping options for pistols, lighters, etc... Nothing to use the batteries for the night vision though. That was fun. The idea behind it seems interesting, the environment could be really good if any effort was put behind it. AI was obviously used for the starting cut-scene and for some- if not all- of the voices. If you told me AI made this game, I would not be surprised. Also they kept talking about how you "came here to make art" but it's LITERALLY just a placeholder [Save The Planet] that your character spray paints. Like WHAT?? You couldn't use AI for that, but you could for the starting stuff?? I honestly just kept waiting for the game to start making sense and for the game play to be more beyond a couple painfully easy "puzzles." Which is sad, because the "lore" with the hotel seemed interesting, and then the asylum stuff seemed fun... It's frustrating. I LOVE indie games, but this one gives them a bad name. The devs should take some time, revisit, and make this more then just a cash grab.
It's not as short a production as I expected; there's a nice atmosphere with a dose of fear. I had to stop the game at its most exciting moment, but that didn't break the atmosphere it created. You've hidden the moments of fear well :))))
SPIDER ALERT! SPIDER ALERT! SPIDER ALERT!
This feels like a school project that was released as a game. This was not a fun experience... and felt so "unfinished".
Schade .
10/10 Agane a Good GAME.
