Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Shadow Mansion 2 is a first-person psychological horror and forensic investigation experience that directly continues the unresolved events of the first case. This is not a game of cheap scares or scripted shocks it is a methodical descent into a failed containment, where the mansion itself preserves the evidence.
After your grandfather’s death, you inherit an isolated estate that functions as a vast, silent crime scene. To survive, you must step into the role of an occult investigator, deciphering cryptic journals, fragmented recordings, and disturbed environments to trace the presence bound to the mansion’s very lifeline: its electrical system.
The entity is not merely haunting the house.
It is wired into it.
🔍 Systemic Investigation
Explore abandoned wings, sealed basements, and subtly shifting hidden passages to uncover critical evidence. Understanding how the entity was originally contained and why that containment collapsed requires careful observation and logical reconstruction, not trial and error.
🧩 Environmental Deduction & Reconstruction
The story is never told outright it is rebuilt. Your grandfather’s notes, tapes, and personal effects form a living case file, guiding you through layered environmental puzzles that reveal the mansion’s suppressed history piece by piece.
⚡ Tactical Surveillance & Power Management
Electricity is both your greatest tool and your greatest risk. Restore power, reroute circuits, and manipulate lighting to expose hidden details but every activated light draws the attention of the presence you are trying to study. Illumination is never free.
👁️ Behavioral Pattern Analysis
There is no combat. Survival depends on thinking like a professional investigator. Track environmental disturbances, shifting sounds, and subtle spatial changes to map the entity’s behavior and predict its movements before it finds you.
⌛ Dense, Focused Narrative Experience
Designed as a tightly crafted 2–3 hour investigative descent, every door opened and every decision made pushes you closer to a final, irreversible deduction.
You may have escaped the first case but the evidence never left.
The mansion remembers every failure, every ritual, every broken safeguard.
The only question is whether you will connect the final pieces…
or become part of its permanent archive.

The biggest scare of this horror game is when it deletes your save" - my mod 2026 So what can I say about this game that's postive............well it was quick to download. This game is full of cheap jump scares and controls that don't really work. The torch was barley worth the light it gave out. Died a few times to the "devil thing" in the basement that it actually deleted my save and wanted me to start again from the very beginning and at this point I was done with the game. If I hadn't received a code for this game I would have gotten a refund. I do feel bad about saying this about an indie game but sadly it just wasn't up to scratch and it felt boring.

I am a streamer and played this for my chat. All enjoyment that was while trudging through this game, was, unfortunately, had at the game's expense. My chat and I were so moved by this "unique experience" that we felt compelled to share our thoughts and opinions with you all. MY PERSONAL THOUGHTS... Oh wait, this is an exact copy and paste of my first review... almost like this game had moments that were exactly copy and pasted form the first installment in this series. LET ME BACK UP... *****ALSO SPOILERS AHEAD FOR SPECIFICITY!***** The TLDR is, I loved seeing MANY improvements over the OG Shadow Mansion, but this game still felt far from ready. I will still be keeping an eye on Nebula as long as they continue to improve as much as they have. I would only recommend this game if some one, who is like me and enjoys B-rated horror "movie" video game content. I like campy horror games. I just don't think that is what the developers are going for, and that is why I "don't recommend this game" MY PERSONAL THOUGHTS: I played the original SM for my chat and we had quite a time with it. I was, however, incredibly impressed with the developers taking our SCATHING review with a grain of salt and taking some of our genuine critiques to heart. One positive I saw in this installation is that many of our complaints were addressed and improved upon. HOWEVER and this is a BIG HOWEVER, just like the first game, there were SO many different things happening that nothing ended up happening. I can see that there is a world here, a story, there is lore, but I feel like I am still missing something and I played both games twice. I want more from this franchise and I feel like the ideas are there, but the execution falls flat. I am going to try to be more specific this time in my examples of this. Last time we focused on the jarring sounds and visuals, which were fixed, this time. The things listed below were things that REALLY stood out as strange, whether they are creative choices or not, I don't know, but as the game's consumer they felt odd. 1) The signs marking the rooms - the text did not fit the aesthetic of the world the developers appeared to be building and felt like they were not confident enough in the decorative process for each room to stand out on their own without signage or direction. 2) Temu Cortana did not make any sense to me. She was an amazing idea, i really liked the idea of the devil possessing the smart house, but her visual changes to her as the game progressed felt disjointed. I think it was supposed to represent her "mental state"/"possession state" but really, there was no way to know for sure. Also, why did she have pants in half of her iterations and not the other half? 3) The teddy bear in the basement. i was unable to interact with it and would love to know what it symbolized or what it had to do with the story, aside from being a disemboweled teddy. 4) The opening cutscene - I had SO much hope that this was foreshadowing for the game and It really gave me the impression I was about to play a real horror game. After playing this through twice though, that opening cut scene made ZERO sense to me. It made LESS sense than it did the first time watching it through. Again, I really feel like the developers have great Ideas, but they don't know which ones to stick do when making their game. 5) After using the keycard the game quality jumped off a ledge. There were SO many cool assets - not sure if they were marketplace or not - but they didn't make sense. We were in a haunted mansion and then suddenly we were in an underground bomb shelter maybe? there was mention of a virus all of a sudden on the newspaper stand that was randomly left in a room next to a gun we couldn't use or interact with? Again, I really like the premise here but the plot was completely lost in the second half of the game, and given how short the game really is, that is kind of an issue for me. 6) The game does not credit any voice actors or anyone outside of the Nebula team, which I know is small, and that is fine, but and this is a big but, who were the VA? Who did the art? Who did the music? I do not want to blame the confusing accent changes of the VA on AI, but without any credit given to actual humans, that I could see in the game, how am I to know if AI was not actually used? IF real VA were actually used, I will ignore the fluctuating accents as humans are prone to mistakes and I am accepting of that. :) 7) The ending was a direct copy paste of the OG game. I even looked back at my original V.O.D to confirm. Now, if this is a creative and purposeful choice on the developers side, I would love to know why via lore in the game. This could be a lovely concept if you knew WHY there was the loop? I hope that makes sense? 8) The jump scares, there was one really good one. I liked that there was some build up to ONE of the jump scares. I heard little pitter patters of feet before being accosted by the entity in the house. HOWEVER, the other scares lacked the immersive effects I am looking for from a horror game. (Please note I am an avid horror gamer and I like to be scared and really enjoy an excellent immersive jump scare.) While the game does have some excellent ambient audio, and some rare and sporadic door knocks, this idea was abandoned after the keycard was used in the basement. 9) One thing that was not improved upon from the OG game, which I know Nebula touched on when they reached out to me before, was that there were MANY rooms and areas left open and completely undecorated. I don't except a developer to decorate every single room of an area, but i do expect them to have a locked door keeping me from seeing unfished spaces. There were a couple examples of this in the house, but there were still at least 7 or 8 rooms that i counted that were empty and available to walk through. Also strange that one of the labeled rooms was locked as well. Why go through the trouble of locking a room that you labeled? (Unless I missed a way to open it and then that is on me! 1000%) Thank you for taking the time to read this far. I really want to see this developer flourish, and I understand that with the size of the team and the price of the game we can not expect perfection. I did see improvement, and I hope to see more in the future. GENUINE THOUGHTS FROM MY COMMUNITY... (Sorry in advance....) "Literally the only good part of the game. Golden motorcycle." (She) "played this game twice with 70+ people watching, all of us looking for redeemable story or qualities. We didn't find any." "I wish there was an actual story line. this game feels like the epitome of deja vu." "Pros: the atmosphere for the first half was good, and the setting felt like you were going into a horror game. Cons: the second half has everything fall apart; props are placed without much rhyme or reason, the too-obvious signs kills suspension of disbelief" "I feel like I’ve sneezed and the game was done" "what was the point of the teddy bear? it could be interacted and there was no hints in the game of what it was meant to symbolize" "given the amount of empty /dead space, I would have expected this to be at alpha, even beta testing seems too far along dev cycle." "in all honesty, it seemed like it was less of a game with interactions and more of a haunted mansion at Disneyland ride. it leaves you thinking there could be something there but no follow through, no consistency. It wasn't good." "I can tell they love what they do, they wouldn't have made the game or reacted so well to criticism. and i like that they fixed things that you brought up in your review but why not spend some more time expanding the world building and the lore. the lack of cohesion is disturbing" "they wanted an ancient tunnel / catacombs aesthetic I think, but they didn't really consider why it was under the mansion"
i was having hard time finding my way inside the house but it was scary and very cheap for its price xd
Мне не очень зашло, хоть и пару раз вздрогнула. Выбиваются эти яркие и цветастые надписи комнат, и не дают погрузиться в историю. https://youtu.be/1kvXVpJ__pc?si=sEjcWmHUEW0KMePt
This game should not be $7. It was less than an hour long and had the cheapest jumpscares and puzzles ive seen in a while. And also the description for the game on the page is way off. I never encountered any robots or had a heartbeat pulse thing or had to look at security cameras. Idk if that was a mistake or if i just completely missed something lol. But i would only play this if it was 50% off at least.
I really liked the games atmosphere, Nebula Nova Games gave a good sound design and immersive vibes into game, i always thought someone or something is always behind me.
The story unfolds beautifully — the characters and mystery are well written, keeping you curious the whole time. A bit more player interaction in certain moments would make it even better. Still, it’s absolutely a must-play experience.
triggered the alarm and it never stopped, even on the title screen.
