The Book of Desires is a decent hidden-object adventure with a dark fairy-tale atmosphere. I enjoyed the mysterious story and exploring the strange locations while trying to uncover the secrets behind the book. The story is intriguing, although it can become confusing, and some of the puzzles feel either too easy or unnecessarily unclear. There is also some backtracking that slows the pace down. I'd recommend it mainly to players who enjoy older-style hidden-object adventures. Enjoy :)

Иногда хочется потрогать игры Point & click Но так как они кусаются в цене как полноценные ААА и состоят из неизвестного качества, приходится трогать от меньшего к большему. И так эта игра нищего качества по ряду причин: 0) заглючила в одном месте (пропал инвентарь в квартире) 1) не логичность действий. (Простительно ещё) 2) хаотичность глупых экспериментов игры над игроком, то дай флаг скелету, то ищи в земле свёрток 3) неудобное управление, постоянно выходит назад, когда жмёшь неудачно инвентарь, на сенсоре делаешь это постоянно! 4) аналогичные загадки, между очень-очень легко и очень-очень глупо 5) в итоге очень короткая игра 6) однообразие поиска предметов, которые можно просто рандомно и безнаказанно натыкать в куче мелких вещей. И везде надо обязательно найти Щётку, Паука, Карты и Два Карандаша Плюсы: 1) визуальная сторона 2) попытка в сюжет за 100-300₽

Das Spiel hat eine sehr gute Atmosphäre, gute Wimmelbildszenen und eine gute Hintergrundgeschichte. Andere Reviewer haben Bugs erwähnt, die ich bei meinem Durchspielen nicht hatte. Allerdings muss ich zugeben, dass die Rätsel am Anfang etwas schwierig sind. Zur Not tut´s dann aber der Skip-Button. Ich hatte Spaß an dem kurzen Spielchen, also kann ich es weiterempfehlen. :)

This game is unimpressive in every way and some of the click fields are broken. Its not worth your time.

Played this years ago and was going through my owned games and decided to replay it. Plot summary (like it matters) - child given an opportunity making a wish, makes a nice one, and ends up in an adventure. Might have had one bug with stones disappearing in a mini-game and not being able to complete it and ended up skipping it. Some of the hidden object parts were actually rather clever - but there were occasional non-standard names. On the whole an OK HOG.
