This game has a great engine, but it is obscene how each character is $20, as many have mentioned before. I feel like they would sell enough to make more money if the characters were less cost prohibitive. AAA games are not $140+....

While this game is fun I'm done with $20 updates. I'm already $100 into this game and no end in sight.
Game itself is pretty well-made. Characters feel like they have "character", items and builds provide some interesting variety. The creative side is well done. Artworks and Voicelines are of good quality. There is as of now just one game-mode with no sorts of variation or overarching progression. Which leads to the largest Con: The insane pricing. you start with 3 Heroes unlocked, each additional one is 20 Bucks, no way too unlock them through play. So its essentially a AAA-priced autobattler deck-builder. And that's a steep price. I would tentatively not recommend this game.
as it stands now this game is a no because of monitization, if i pay to play a game i shouldnt have to pay that price again just to use another charactar that will become free anyways. maybe when the game releases and they make the dlc chars free like they promised then we can talk about how good this game is
Great game on the steam deck. However, it is absolutely unbelievable that the only way to unlock hero’s is to spend $20 a character. So you start with 3 heroes out of like 10? And they want you to spend $20 a character without anyway to grind in game the character unlocks. This money grab game should just be boycotted on principal.
Fantastic auto battler/deck builder. Multiple characters with unique playstyles and various viable deck builds, makes each feels run fresh instead of being a typical one trick pony. DLC is pricey but seems to come on sale often, easy to sink 100+ hours just on the base game which is relatively cheap. Works flawless on steam deck, easy to play casual and collect cosmetics along the way. Only downside is no offline play, can get occasional lag when moving to the next battle - game will go down for patch maintenance.
Love the game, love the insane synergies, love basically everything about this game. But, 20.00$ for each new character!!???!??!? Thats highway robbery.
losers stay losing
WTF they have a merchandise tab on the main menu. Like for T shirts. It's comical. I like this game, but its balance is awful. Then the characters locked behind paywalls is pretty jank. BUT THE T SHIRT TAB! (makes me madder than it should but still)
