About

Burn enemies to ashes. Freeze them solid. Summon an army of pets. Stack hundreds of Dexterity. Or create a completely ridiculous build nobody has ever seen before.
Autocard is a build-crafting autobattler where experimentation is the path to victory. Choose a class, assemble unique Packs, fuse cards together, craft them into monsters, and watch your creation battle automatically.
Every run is an opportunity to discover a new way to break the game.

Every class offers a different fantasy, different relics, and different starting Packs.
Master elemental magic as the Elementalist.
Rain arrows from afar as the Archer.
Embrace chaos as the Joker and build your own custom starting setup from almost any Pack in the game.
Each class includes:
• Unique Innate Skill
• Exclusive Relics
• Dedicated starting Packs
• Distinct strategies and synergies
No two classes play the same.

Cards in Autocard are organized into thematic Packs. (~10 cards, 3 relics and special events)
At the start of a run, your class determines your starting packs, shaping the cards and synergies you'll discover. Then during the run you will have to choose up to 4 packs to mix and match.
A Pyromancer run feels completely different from a Trapper build.
A Strength-focused Peasant plays nothing like a Luck-based Joker.
Because you can't force the same pack combinations, every run creates new possibilities, and challenge to overcome.

Autocard's Fusion System allows you to merge cards together and create entirely new combinations.
Combine support effects with powerful attacks.
Merge two synergy pieces into a single centerpiece.
Transform an ordinary card into the engine that drives your entire build.
The fused card inherits the effects of both originals, opening the door to countless strategies.
Found the perfect card?
Keep upgrading it.
Crafting events let you add effects and increase the power of your cards throughout a run.
There is no strict limit.
A single card can become the heart of your strategy as you continue improving it again and again.
Every run tells a different story.

I really enjoyed the demo, so I bought the game upon EA release. Go play the demo now if you're unsure. My favorite element in the game is you'll always get one chance to Fuse two cards together into one card with all traits/attributes/effects/whatever. It lets you create your own synergies in really interesting ways. A favorite of mine is to fuse any card that can reduce its own cooldown onto a big powerful card with a long cooldown. EDIT: I played some more and discovered that the Joker class starts by creating one of these Fusion cards to start the game with and I'm having a lot of fun with it.
For an early-ish early access, there's honestly a great bunch of content. 5 playable characters, around 10 sets of cards (each run you can use only 4, more or less randomly selected), that already gives a lot of replayability. I have not encountered any bug in the card plays themselves, which is always nice for an early access in a game with so much interactions. A few bugs in the UI here and there (not gamebreaking, but annoying), which were patched recently: the game is active. I have more than 40h of play as I'm writing this review, and I still want to start a few runs, which is a very good sign. The gameplay loop (and target audience) is very similar to backpack battles: one phase of enhancement, one autobattle, one phase of enhancement, one autobattle ... There is as well your playing board with the sequencing of the cards you'll play, and a chest where you keep the cards you don't play now but may be interested in for later. The difference between the two is that you have less complexity in puzzling how to sequence your cards here (only one dimension instead of two), however you have more build variety as - the available card sets are never the same between runs - once per run, you have the possibility to fuse any two cards together, which creates a super card having the characteristics and abilities of both. This actually let you create particularly powerful cards that become the centerpoint around which you build the synergies of your board. What the game does very well is giving the deckbuilding freedom we all love, the satisfaction of creating well oiled machineries or gamebreaking combos. Don't be fooled by the first few runs looking all similar: this is because you haven't unlocked most content yet, so that you can learn the ropes. A huge recommend from me, as someone who has played hundreds of hours of backpack battles, and stopped because at grandmaster level the game isn't fun anymore.
First impression
A much better version of f2p "Bazaar" as you can fight vs several AI bosses with increasing difficulty and build whatever heart desires instead of following very specific boring meta. And no need to buy DLC - instead unlock new packs, bosses and heroes for ingame currency, heck you don't even need to grind.
Unique features
I'll go straight and just name feature that totally conquered me - the final hero unlock is joker girl that gets random 2 packs of all classes and forms her unique main ability. Unlike other 4 classes in EA that stick to certain playstyle (warrior, shielder, mage, archer) that joker is one of the most fun heroes in whole gaming ever. You pick two rng packs and choose one of three cards in each and strategize some incredibly unique ability for each run. There are many neutral factions, like alchemy, pets, magic stones, which are hard to build into if you are paladin or warrior and joker pretty much opens all possibilities and combos, making every card in the game viable. This is just insane fun! The other good feature is great quantity of events after each battle, in games like Slay The spire you have to pick just 1 event, but here you can bump into 4-6 at once and every time have 2 road choices with completely different outcomes. It feels like game truly unrestricted, it just lets you have all the fun without creating any annoying obstructions, not stalling for time, not punishing you for losing, not telling to play certain way cus "dev has it's own vision of how you should play". It is amazing experience and a breath of fresh air.
Gameplay
It is very simple without any story or bla bla bla of NPC. You fight 9 or so arena battles 1vs1 and get 1 random reward from enemy, some cash and exp. The more you lvl up, the more space your board has for cards. There is quite huge variety of cards and playstyles, covering pretty much every aspect of modern card games in one pot. It is easy to understand and all mechanics thoroughly explained via popups (when hovering mouse over things). Honestly, Autocard does not feels like EA at all, except generic name it has zero negatives. You are the one who determines which packs are added to the pool of current run, so if don't want fire items - pick different school. Combining stuff is very satisfying and surprisingly works most of the times. You can see statistic after battle representing how many times each effect activated and how much havoc caused, so weaker things are easy to switch around for something better. Of course, the biggest part of game is Fusion mechanic in the middle of run, letting you combine 2 of any cards into giga-card that has all effects of it's 'parents', but slightly bigger. Combined with joker class this turns game into best ccg i ever played... And that's hundreds if not thousands of ccg games.
Conclusion
Definitely one of the best things ever happened to ccg genre and so far among best games of 2026. I can only compare it to Look Outside level of fun which turned horror genre upside down last year, they have similar variety and non-linear progression. Funny that recently another big deal happened to tower defense genre with release of Axom Conquest, making that duo shine very brightly. And i give 99% of games negative review, so yeah. The price is also very low for it's content.
A standout title in the auto-battler genre. Players who enjoy theory-crafting and breaking game mechanics will be well-served. The increasing difficulty provides a significant challenge, complemented by a wide variety of unlockable sets that encourage diverse playstyles and powerful synergies. Highly recommended.
A very cool single-player Bazaar-like with lots of content (that comes in the form of a clever "pack" system so pools don't become too diluted).
tried playing and after choosing my second booster pack all it does is give the same option i already chose. trying to proceed just pops up a window saying i have unclaimed rewards, without any way of proceeding without claiming them. upon looking at steam community discussion, there seems to be many "soft locks" that people experience. i was having fun with the game but something that makes it where its actually unplayable and not just some preference i didnt like really sucks. I'll come back once dev fixes this.
Great and realy fun game ! I loved the demo but the early is way better, the joker character is so cool to play. I have seen that PvP should come... can’t wait !!
Took me roughly 10 hours to beat the final difficulty with a specific character. 15 hours in and sitll haven't unlocked all there is. Fun auto battler type game. Would recommend. If the game is crashing, limit fps to 60.
Отличная игра, реально стоит потраченного на неё времени! Кайфую от поиска комбинаций, можно экспериментировать и каждая партия не похожа на другую. Олд скул атмосфера и графика тоже понравились. Если любите игры в жанрах deckbuilder, autoballter и roguelike, как, например, the baazar, slay the spire или backpack battlers, думаю, вам тоже понравится эта игра! С нетерпением жду мультиплеер ))
Unexpected synergies is the most fun in this game! Merge cards, create builds that are oh so broken when you least expect it!
