About
The Adventurers is a turn-based tactical RPG set in a rich, high-fantasy world inspired by classic tabletop role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons. Lead a diverse party of adventurers as they explore an ever-changing world, engage in strategic combat, and manage the complexities of adventuring life. Take on costly quests, battle mythical creatures, and discover many wonders, as you make a name for yourself in a world filled with opportunities and dangers.
Master the art of strategy by harnessing the unique abilities, spells, and skills of your adventurers. Outthink your enemies by using the terrain to your advantage. As the world evolves, so too must your tactics; adapt your strategies and fine-tune your party composition to face increasingly dangerous threats. Every encounter demands sharp thinking, clever planning, and the perfect blend of power and precision to conquer even the mightiest adversaries.
Venture into a dynamic world where every journey holds new surprises. Caravans brave perilous roads, desperately hoping to evade ruthless raiders, while dense forests and towering mountains hide both mythical creatures and untold dangers. Discover ancient ruins brimming with forgotten relics and bustling cities alive with intrigue, where secrets wait to be unearthed.
Embark on quests that range from hunting down ferocious beasts and defending vulnerable villages to delving into shadowy conspiracies that could shake the realm. Each quest presents fresh challenges and rich rewards, pushing you closer to legendary status with every choice you make.

Forge your ultimate team of heroes by recruiting adventurers with distinct classes and powerful skills. As they grow stronger, unlock devastating abilities that can turn the tide of battle. Shape your party's strategy by customizing each character’s talents and attributes to craft a perfect blend of power and synergy. Keep your team in top form by managing their morale, health, and stamina—because every decision could mean the difference between victory and defeat as you prepare for thrilling adventures ahead.

Promising game in the making. Regular updates. Active and responsive devs. It's a good look and start. The gameplay is over world map into tactical battle. Mercenary group very D&D adjacent. Action, Bonus Action, and Movement. If you're familiar with 5e you'll feel the inspiration. Energy system in place that paces your abilities think mana bar that fills up every turn your vitality effects the regen rate. Recent update has given enemies abilities. I didn't actually play this game before enemies had abilities but they definitely make for challenging fights. You can get in over head very easy. Save often. You can and will run into bad fights that could lead to wipes. The balancing needs adjusting, but that will always be a push and pull. You travel the map, hit up towns, your mercs have personalities and preferences that shape how you'll be adventuring. Maybe your resting in towns more often. Maybe you're camping to rest. It's up to you. Looking forward to playing and testing the game more!
Didn't play much cause i'm spending time on backlog before new games but i want to leave a positive review to support the work of this indie dev releasing so many content patches fast and reliably. They care about their game and i feel like being supportive. A better review will come with more hours under my belt.
Was going to leave a review, but thinking about what to type just makes me want to play the game instead. Will type a better review when I'm not playing it... Okay! So this is currently a fun little game to enjoy for a bit before moving on, but it's on the edge of being an obsession that you can put years of time into. Either way, it's a positive review, but I sure hope as development goes on, it grows into a game that keeps me coming back for more. I LOVE the character appearance customization, and that you can change the mercenaries into different characters too, if you're not happy with their appearance and name. Being able to make my own story is great and I'd love to see something that allows you to maybe interact with reoccurring characters like allies, rivals, enemies, and even characters with their own motivations you don't know, possibly even customizing their appearance and names too. Possibly even name and design stuff out in the world. Sort of like how you customize your character and party at the beginning. I dunno, but I think this can become something really amazing! Oh. I'd also like to see a way to reset stat points, even if it is expensive or takes time, and also I'd like to see a way to copy/paste character appearance so I can easily remake my favorites from run to run. Probably more appearance options too, hairstyles and colors and what not.
I love the energy system and perks, the couple areas id work on is either giving the market a randomized inventory to sell from all the other shops but make them lower quality so you still have to go to the black smith or enchanter for good equipment, im also going to suggest curses like lycanthrope or vampirism, contracted through fighting vampires or lycans (and dont make it just werewolves either) also a racial system adding the core fantasy races and all itd do is add resistances and key ability differences, also if you are going with new races dont just stick to the core either, branch out into goatfolks or loxodons (gotta call em something else though because loxodon is copyrighted) and if there are going to be beastial races add their nomadic tribes to trade and recruit from or maybe even just raid them, or actually what if you sided with the tribes and raided the cities
MERCI aux dev de l'avoir traduit en français
It is addicting type of game, keep in mind that it is a slow burn and to actually get good, you will need time, patience and stratigic thinking. You need to find a way to make money at the beginning and from there onward let's say that you have plenty to do and it will get addicting once you get stronger.
just get Battle Brothers you will enjoy it more
