The 7th Guest Remake

Played the original with my dad years ago, but didn't remember much about it. I'm glad I gave this remake a go. It brought back some good memories, and I honestly loved every moment of it. A+

Great, nostalgic puzzle game. There are over 15+ rooms and each rooms has 2-3 puzzles. The puzzles are not that hard, but some require thinking. The story is easy to follow. I also enjoyed the cinematic storytelling.

I didn't play in VR but it was still so immersive and so much fun. The story telling tech they used was really cool, and I think it suited the aesthetic of the game very well. There was such a wide array of puzzles, each room was completely different! The little details that really tickled me were the things revealed with the ghost lantern mechanic. All the pictures on the walls would change, not to mention getting to see little glimpses of the derelict house in its original condition. They put a lot of thought and effort into this game and I'd say it's absolutely worth a play.

Game is ok. Story is ~meh. Game keeps crashing when put on hold. And the mood killer is the horrible last "board" game to beat the Toymaker at the end of the game, which is completely different style, mostly based on "rolling the dice" and a total turn-off for me. What a time waster!! Uninstalled out of frustration.

Good story, it keeps you interested to go explore more of the mansion. Puzzles are intuitive and medium hard, with a hint and resolve all option if stuck. It looks well polished, nice music and the actors did a good job overall. I had not experienced bugs or lags. Overall a very enjoyable playthrough.

I got as far as the actress' bedroom and the game will not open now. Soon as I click on profile ONE it pops a FATAL ERROR window and closes. NO idea wth happened. I am waiting for support to let me know. I am pretty ticked off. I tried to load it on my laptop originally and it wouldn't due to the Dx issue. SO I loaded it onto my PC with windows. Played to around 40% acc. to the profile when it tries to load but it won't open now. Rebooted pc. nada.

A fun and challenging game. Puzzles are not real easy nor very difficult. Using logic with investigative skills adds to the enjoyment.

Fun at first but became tedious towards the end. Like a lot of games I find these days it dropped the ball with the last puzzle. So if you want to play it and then be disappointed right at the end then please give it a go. Otherwise spend your money elsewhere.

A great game with a very captivating story and gorgeous graphics. Highly recommended!
