For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

More of a simple game but still fun. A good time killer
Fun at first but became tedious towards the end. Like a lot of games I find these days it dropped the ball with the last puzzle. So if you want to play it and then be disappointed right at the end then please give it a go. Otherwise spend your money elsewhere.
A fun and challenging game. Puzzles are not real easy nor very difficult. Using logic with investigative skills adds to the enjoyment.

The game is really good, except for the ending. That last game, "SOS"... what the hell is that garbage?! It's painfully slow, you're just forced to sit there and take it, and Stauf cheats constantly, so you have practically no chance of winning. What were the developers even thinking ?
Excellent remake d'un petit classique de la FMV des années 90. Tout a vieilli, mais ce fut un vrai plaisir de se replonger dans le manoir Stauf !
Fun game, and a great reimagining of a classic. Final challenge is kind of tedious and off theme imo, but still worth playing.
I love a classic puzzle game, it was spooky, well thought out, not to easy, and had perfect comedic timing. My Favorite part was going room to room checking all the paintings to see how they changed honestly they should have made that an achievement too! and some of the coin hiding spots were very very sneaky!!
Game launched ok, but for some reason the first puzzle was bugged - nowhere to get second gem to release the key. Tried everything in the area, but assume it was a rendering bug as the game is pretty old. Just requested a refund - I don't want to have to install mods etc to get the game working really.
An amazing experience and recreation of the 90's classic Horror Adventure game. It's a true reimagining of the original, allowing you to fully explore the mansion. While I miss minor things such as the hidden rooms, and shortcuts, it's a faithful recreation. The puzzles are much more sensible, with less card/chess puzzles (they are still there, but maybe 1 of each) and more puzzles related to the rooms there in. I do miss the original cake and labyrinth though. The only real issue is the final "Puzzle" of the game isn't really a puzzle and let down the rest of the game in my eyes, since it's more about good RNG than logic.
Pros: It's an enchanting return to the Stauf Mansion. The storyline, for the most part, is much better and more fleshed out, we see each character's demise, and the puzzles are numerous. The actors are phenomenal, the new Stauf does a great job. Also, there's no microscope puzzle and no 3-D maze. The ghostly lantern and the phonograph records are fun additions. Cons: The puzzles are sometimes buggy as hell, and occasionally the hints found in the rooms are more confusing than the games. The deaths of the guests in the game have lost a good deal of their supernatural edge to them. There's also no Woman in White roaming the halls. There are female "voices" who appear later in the game, but they are sadly underused, and despite their tantalizing tone, there doesn't appear to be a way to "join them" as they frequently request. One lesser yet nagging issue, IMO, is how they altered Stauf's character. He's less concerned about making terrifying, twisted bargains and collecting souls than he is exacting revenge. While it's not a deal-breaker in terms of his role in the story, it does somewhat undercut his reasons for why he's... collecting dolls. I get that the developers wanted to make the puppeteer into a puppet in the long term, for the sake of poetic symmetry, but sometimes you just need to let cruelty be deliciously cruel, for cruelty's sake. Overall, it's an enjoyable game, and a few irksome game bugs aside, it's a welcome addition to the 7th Guest lore.
