Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 20 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

poor port... extremely buggy. cannot adjust midi balance so you cannot hear voices. also, clues are inane and it becomes tedious just trying figure out where to go and what to click just to find a puzzle.
Plays like a bag of butt today, but way back when this was a pretty solid sequel to The 7th Guest. If you like The 7th Guest this is worth playing. Personally I prefer my copy over on GOG, but that's just me.
This one has to stay in the past I'm afraid.

I was obsessed with 7th Guest as a kid, and was so excited to finally play the sequel... Good things: I found the puzzles very engaging, and there was so much more engagement and nuance with the enviroment compared 7th Guest (almost too much - almost anything was clickable to interact with... but the house decor was ... changed). Sadly, I otherwise found the game play a bit cringe. Not just an SA storyline that didn't age well, but also a lot of clunky changes to mechanics and game flow. The clues had you constantly running in circles around the house - like for a single clue you might have to repeatedly visit three different rooms. Instead of being able to 'auto-complete' when you get stuck on a puzzle, you have to do innumerable click-throughs each turn to tell the computer to take your turn for you... and you still are not guranteed to 'win'. Sadly, the coding also made it REALLY easy to click out of puzzles... which meant sometimes resetting right on the brink of solving. The sound was also hard to handle... cut scenes and game sounds had different audio, often the game music over-powered voice overs and cut-scene dialogue. Finally, it does not let you auto-complete the last puzzle... which is just a battle against the AI. I ended up deciding I didn't care about the cringe storyline anymore, and uninstalled. >< *7th Guest fans beware, this does not do the original game any justice*
GARBAGE! Shouldn't need to download anything outside of this game to make it actually run. Game locks up on the stupid skulls screen. Original game was great, BUT, laziness on the dev's part, as it refuses to work on a simple Win10 machine.
Annoyed me slightly less than The 7th Guest! Although admittedly that's probably only due to The 7th Guest preparing me for the level of jank to expect... Oh well.
Very good and playable. Would recommend to people who enjoyed the 7th guest.
Doesnt even work anymore. I thought these old games on steam had been rigged to at least work properly. Doesn't inspire confidence to buy 7th guest.

There is an impossible puzzle in the game that cannot be beat! Whats worse is that there is no solution to beating it at all (not even an Ai can find a solution to this impossible puzzle)! Its just like the impossible Chess Ai system on every Apple system! Because of this, the game is impossible to 100%, let alone beat! So save your cash on this one, it ain't worth $5 of pure rage & suffering!
