Сплав детективного нуар-квеста с компьютерной трехмерной графикой того времени. На мой взгляд, самая классная часть серии! Конечно же, могу заблуждаться
Witty, fun, makes you think. I used to think I didn't like point and click games, I was wrong. Tex Murphy exists, as do many other great ones.
When can we expect to see Tex in VR? The thing we all just realized we desperately need:\
An essential masterpiece, hands down.
best game of all time. a must try and play game. I love the adventure every time I play this game.
A great little game. Puzzles are not too hard to solve and pixel hunting is not so prominent as to become a problem. Story progresses at a fine pace and the humor is mostly good. One issue is moving around some of the 3D environments. Sometimes the movements become too fast for the smaller environments and it can become disorienting.
Will this work on windows 11?
such a goofy classic. The graphics are terrible such as the jokes
SPACE to start looking around, then SWAYING YOUR MOUSE front and back to walk while ALSO being the means to look around horizontally is insane. The vertical axis is bound to the arrows too, because why not. Apart from that I think it's a great game, and the characters have a lot of detail put into them. If you have a below average attention span you WILL go insane. This game expects you to pay a lot of attention. "What can I do for you, Murph?" "How about a pitcher of beer and the love of a good woman, Louie." "Can´t help you with the woman (makes the shape of a woman with his hands), Murph. No problem with the beer, though. Put it on your tab? (smiles)"
This game is a terrific time capsule for me. The nostalgia alone disqualifies me as an objective player here. Me here down in Texas has a special place in me heart fer Tex! His name alone is hilarious considering he reckons himself a Sam Spade or a Mike Hammer when he's way more Pink Panther! This is me fav Tex Murphy outing by a slim nostalgic margin against the followup to this game "The Pandora Detective," Both games are worthy point and click adventures fer those who can deal with the clunky interface. The kids should note that this game was one of dozens from about 1992 to 1998 or so to have the capability to show crude video footage mixed with more tradition graphics that the CD-ROMs made possible. It has since become known as the live-action era, This Tex Murphy vehicle arrived at the right time with the right technology and production value to create a classic PC game from back in the day. The plot is Blade Runner mixed with The Maltese Falcon, seasoned by a heavy touch of The Pink Panther. Chris Jones delivers the goods here with Margot Kidder, and Brian Keith. Talk about a Cast! Russell Means also delivers a brief but memorable performance as a Navajo Skin walker villan! The setting and freedom of movement made the gameplay ahead of its time. Games like this killed the type-in interface with the adventure game and has since remained superior in my mind.
