About
TerraTech Worlds is an open-world, build-craft exploration adventure game, set on an uncharted alien world. Playing solo or with friends, you’ll explore your surroundings, craft unique vehicles, construct automated bases, and battle your way through natural hazards and challenging enemies to harness the power of your environment.

Expand your base with complex, automated production lines to refine minerals, scrap spare parts and keep you stocked with ammunition. Design intricate conduit networks to manage production, and scale up your power infrastructure to keep pace as the factory grows.

Create different Techs to meet different needs. From mining to combat, you can build the perfect vehicle for the mission! Visually customise your Techs and bases until everything is just to your liking, then optimise your Tech by taking advantage of powerful stat modifiers.

Expand and consolidate your planetary infrastructure by extracting exotic resources from the world around you. Resculpt the landscape to suit your needs with free-form terraforming tools - from flattening out a racetrack to creating peaks and valleys for base defence!

Explore a 300km² planet with no loading, no streaming and no limits, populated by rich and diverse environment biomes, with a day/night cycle, dynamic weather, dangerous plant life, hostile enemy factions and bases, and more. Venture deep into strange Woodlands, traverse the acidic Swamps, dodge lightning storms and enter the snowy Arctic.

Encounter and overcome a diverse range of enemy Techs as you expand your territory, scavenging and researching new blocks to upgrade your combat capability. Face down dangerous opponents, experiment with ever-more powerful and specialised combat builds, and team up with your fellow Prospectors to raid enemy bases and push back the frontier.

Kinks to work out, but great overall! It's like pretty Terratech had a freaky, capitalist child! <3
It has the potential to be amazing, but there are a few querks that could put someone off of it. first, the camera There is no way to force the camera to stay in a certain direction that I observed. It will stay behind you, until you move your mouse which you will be doing a fair bit. At that point, it stays pointing in the direction you moved it, regardless of what direction you are driving. Unlike terratech, there is no spring setting to force the issue. death: If this is your first experience playing a game like this, you might be in for a rough time. If your tech gets destroyed, all of your cargo gets left behind. This is nothing new, but even more painful is the fact that everything you had attached to you is also removed and left behind with your... um... corpse? I guess wreck is more accurate. You will have to go retrieve your remains and then (from what I observed) reassemble yourself by hand. If you are new to the game and just starting to learn the ropes, the experience can be a rather brutal one which I assume only gets worse as you find stronger and stronger techs, eventually getting taken down by one and then reverting to just the basic parts you started with. If your reck is unretrievable, this might likely force you into trying to make or buy other parts just to go retrieve your old wreck. For me, this majorly impacted building. I stopped trying to make my tech look cool and started just putting things where they would fit. Asthetics took a back seat to mechanics. the map From what I observed, there is only 2 forms of viewing where you are and what is around you. They are both floating and not fixed. Your HALO system is a hologram (that is rather small) that is projected from the top of your cab. Since it is not fixed, all the issues of camera also return here, with the added bonus that it now applies to how you read the radar. If you can read a map upside down, this likely won't matter. The second is an actual map, this one taking the form of a large hologram projected from your tech. It is also not fixed as well as not very detailed. Last death positions don't show on it, for instance. Nore do enemies, so it's probably meant to be more of a world map. misc There is no auto aim. You will have to drive to evade while also trying to target your foe and be mindful that your camera is no longer going to be pointing forward most likely. Further more, the starting tech can take a respectable amount of damage, but even with the 2 initial starting weapons, it does not deal a respectable amount of damage. Especially if you miss. If you should have trouble seeing things from far away, combat is going to be an interesting challenge for you. apart from these things, it's a great concept and another fantastic entry in the terratech franchise. If you can put up with the "issues", I feel you'll really enjoy it.
i got it as a gift maybe i dont remember and its veeeeeeeeeeert good
Very fun game, ive been playing on and off since launch and im happy to see a great deal of improvements to the game. Please could the devs have a look at collisions and bounce physics, i feel like the smallest tap can send your tech flying in the wrong direction. especially the shooting plants in the swamp
I have over 63 hours in terratech And I have to say moving to this game was a big disappointment I was expecting something a lot more built up and a lot more. and Some sort of actual story And it's just been a big disappointment You might as well have just continued to update the first game and added new things there 'cause this is not what people wanted
