The story is relatively short, but it is intense and keeps you engaged. The final charge toward the enemy, accompanied by the classic music from the Terminator films, is especially exciting and gives the ending a real sense of scale and nostalgia. When I watched the Terminator films as a child, I never imagined that one day I would be directly facing Terminators and shooting them down myself. In this game, I have basically become a Terminator of Terminators. The graphics are somewhat outdated, but I found that tolerable. The gunplay could also be improved, as the shooting experience sometimes feels less polished than it should. Still, Terminator is such a great IP, and as a fan I really enjoyed the atmosphere, story and references to the films. I just wish we could see more proper AAA Terminator games in the future.

Рутины в заданиях не так много. 2. Довольно качественная адаптация вселенной. Придраться обобо не к чему. Как и Robocop разработчикам нравилось, что они делают. 3. Техническая часть особо без нареканий. Дешего и сердито. Игра звезд с неба не хватает. Видно что проект что-то между Indie и AA. Сделан достойно, но без излишеств. Никакой интерактивности обстановки, хорошо есть какое-то освещение. Локации скорее коридорного типа. Качественная озвучка. 4. Карточки и доcтижения Steam. [u]Недостатки:[/u] 1. В игре немного контента - вопрос бюджета игры. Но правда, все что есть - сделано качественно. Хотя с другой стороны не все даже ААА-проекты имеют 30 часов геймплея. 2. Ограниченность апгрейдов оружия. Но опять таки, для шутера вполне пойдет. Вердикт: Хорошая игра по вселенной Терминатора. Не хит, но палец в низ не заслуживает точно. [b]Моя оценка: 7.0 из 10[/b]

solid 8.5 to 9 game, especially if you're a fan of the Terminator franchise. Lacks in some areas, but for what it was, t's good.

Terminator: Resistance is the definitive love letter to The Terminator (1984) and Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991). Developed by Teyon, this game bypasses decades of mediocre cinematic sequels to deliver the authentic, canonical Future War prequel fans have wanted since 1991. THE BASE GAME You play as Jacob Rivers, a private in the Resistance targeted by Skynet. The game’s pacing is brilliant. It starts as a survival horror game where standard bullets do nothing to T-800 endoskeletons, forcing you into the shadows. Once you scavenge and upgrade to red plasma rifles, it evolves into an incredibly satisfying, action-packed shooter. What makes it a masterpiece for fans is how seamlessly it ties into the movies. The narrative masterfully threads the needle to explain the exact setups for both films—showing how John Connor captured and reprogrammed the T-800 sent to protect young John in T2, and the emotional moment Kyle Reese volunteers to go back to 1984. Combined with the iconic, synth-heavy Brad Fiedel-inspired soundtrack, the atmosphere is unmatched. ANNIHILATION LINE DLC This expansion takes place mid-campaign and pairs you up with a young Kyle Reese. It trades some of the base game's scavenging for pure, high-octane warfare. The fan service here is next-level, featuring a terrifying trek through the ruined corridors of the Reseda Galleria (the mall where the T-800 and T-1000 first clashed in T2) and an epic showdown with the massive HK Centurion. INFILTRATOR MODE A brilliant 45-minute bonus mode that flips the perspective. You play as an actual T-800 endoskeleton, complete with the iconic red HUD vision and scanning reticle. Your objective is to stomp through a sandbox map, hunt down Resistance cells, and collect Skynet intelligence. It is a pure, unadulterated power-fantasy. THE VERDICT The Good: Unbeatable atmosphere, flawless movie lore integration, excellent plasma gunplay, and a soundtrack that will give you goosebumps. The Bad: Stiff facial animations, slightly dated graphics, and simplistic RPG/crafting mechanics. Teyon didn't have a triple-A budget, but they had absolute reverence for the source material. It succeeds where modern Hollywood failed. An absolute must-buy at full price or on sale.
