5/10 This totally has a "B" movie type vibe to it, but for games. The game is alright, not terrible, not great. I just thought it was more frustrating than fun. I paid about $7 on sale and for that price I'm fine with what I got. No complaints. I'd say don't drop more than 10 bucks on it though. I read this was a "budget" game, and if that's the case, then I think the studio did a pretty good job. I was more invested in the story than I thought I'd be, and I'm usually not a story / choices matter type of guy. Regardless of the games budget, I'd say it comes across as kinda lazy. It's mostly open maps where you run around picking up resources and finding a few weapons along the way while completing side quest and missions. Then they scatter a few enemies and encounters around to keep things interesting. I thought this was pretty boring and it's only made worse when you re-visit the same levels as the story progresses. I played on the hard difficutly (3/4) and the devs approach to that was bullet sponge enemies that pretty much 1 shot you, which I'm really not a fan of. Eventually you pick up some weapons that actually give you a fighting chance in combat, but by that time I think it's too little too late. I would have down voted this game but because it wasn't a big budget game, I game 'em a break. Though, I think it does enough right and gives you enough options to give it a positive review on steam. Def not interested in buying the DLC which I generally do for games I'm into
