Terminator: Resistance

Es ist schwer etwas über das Spiel zu sagen, ist ja auch fast nichts da. Ein schamloser, halbgarer 08/15 Unity shooter, so generisch das man mehrere Deja-Vus durchläuft und schwört es schon mal gespielt zu haben. Scheitert an allem woran Robocop Erfolg hatte, und das war schon recht simpel gestaltet. Man kann es spielen, man kann aber auch einfach an die Wand starren. Obwohl dabei fällt einem eventuell etwas spaßigeres bei ein.

Terminator: Resistance feels like a love letter from fans of The Terminator who were disappointed with where the franchise went after Terminator 2. Because the game takes place within the timeline established by the first two movies, it manages to preserve the story and atmosphere we’re already familiar with, while also giving us a chance to see what happened before Kyle Reese and the T-101 were sent back in time. And if you’re a fan of the movies, there are plenty of Easter eggs and little references that you’ll absolutely appreciate. The art direction also captures the look and feel of James Cameron’s original Terminator era surprisingly well. It genuinely feels like the developers understood what made those movies special. Unfortunately, the biggest problem with this game is its graphics. Holy shxt, the graphics are rough. Everything looks incredibly dated, and not in a charming retro way. The game sometimes looks like it belongs on the PS2 rather than a modern platform. The gameplay doesn’t help much either. It tries to be a semi-open-world game, but you’ll constantly be walking through the same areas over and over again, just with different objectives attached to them. The main quests are okay. They’re entertaining enough and can provide some fun, but don’t expect anything close to a polished AAA experience. Honestly, if this were a PS2 game, I’d probably be much more impressed. The side quests are actually a pleasant surprise. Thankfully, they aren’t just repetitive filler missions, and some of them can affect the ending of the game. That said, their impact isn’t really significant in terms of the overall story. They’re more about making you feel the consequences of your choices than actually changing the course of the narrative. And honestly, that’s not a bad thing. Aside from that, most of the game follows fairly standard RPG mechanics. Nothing particularly groundbreaking, but nothing completely terrible either. Final Verdict If you’re a fan of James Cameron’s The Terminator, you’ll probably get a lot more enjoyment out of this game than the average player. The story, atmosphere, references, and fan service are clearly where this game shines. But if you don’t know much about The Terminator, or you’re simply not a fan of the movies, you can safely skip this one. The game itself is mediocre at best. The love letter to Terminator fans, however, is pretty damn good. Recommended for Terminator fans. Not recommended for everyone else.

советую тем кто любит 1 и 2 фильмы о терминаторе) очень не плохо) для меня 8 из 10 игра. Местами чуть однообразно, но в целом прошел на одном дыхании)

6.5/10 玩过这个工作室出的机械战警再来玩的，这游戏的画面有点粗糙，整体质感不像19年的游戏，反而像15年的游戏。线性叙事，本体流程约10小时，剧情中规中矩吧，枪械种类不多，敌人AI很呆。

Buen juego que cumple lo que promete. Si te gusta Terminator, especialmente la estética de las películas clásicas, entra bastante bien. La ambientación está conseguida y consigue transmitir ese mundo destruido y gris que uno espera de la saga. Eso sí, yo no pagaría mucho por él a estas alturas: unos 8 € me parece un precio razonable. Ya tiene unos años y se nota, sobre todo en el apartado gráfico, que está bastante limitado para los estándares actuales. La historia se deja jugar bien, mantiene el interés y encaja con el universo de Terminator, aunque resulta bastante previsible y hay algunas partes y decisiones de diseño que me parecieron poco necesarias. En resumen: no es un juego espectacular, pero sí uno bastante digno, entretenido y muy recomendable para fans de Terminator si se compra barato.
