Terminator: Resistance, is a first-person shooter set during the 'Future War' scenario that was only glimpsed at in the iconic films, 'THE TERMINATOR' and 'T2: JUDGMENT DAY'. The machines are destined to lose, but at what cost?

Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.71/day in the week to Aug 26 → 19.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

After playing their RoboCop games and thoroughly enjoying my time with them, I was eager to give Resistance a go, just to get an idea of where Teyon had really started to build themselves. And I must say, even with its rough edges, it's a surprisingly fantastic game and a beautiful love letter to the Terminator franchise. When it comes to the story, it's plenty expansive, taking place before the events of the two (AND ONLY TWO) Terminator films. Going through the grim and desolate ruins of Los Angeles, you meet up with both new and familiar characters, where your dialogue with them can determine the outcome of their fates, and even your own. As for the gameplay, it's nothing groundbreaking, but nevertheless engaging. Missions centered in large open-world spaces worthy of exploration, where you can bulldoze straight through the main story or take the time to go on side missions (which is recommended if you want to get more skill points). The gunplay is rudimentary-feeling but still solid as you have a variety of weapons against many of Skynet's mass-produced units, both from the movies and unique to the game. As a side note, the missions that take place at night are really where the game's atmosphere really hits, feeling straight out of the future war segments from the movies. With all this praise, however, there is some manner of critique I gotta give as well. I wasn't lying when I mentioned that the game as some rough edges to it. Certain game mechanics ripped straight from other existing games or just feeling rather cookie cutter basic; levels feeling repetitive, to the point where a good handful of levels are in the same area; cheesy and ill-fitting dialogue with some questionable voice acting at times; stealth being REALLY inconsistent at times (seriously, trying to sneak past a T-800 is basically useless if it spots you). And yet, these shortcomings, in my opinion, can be looked over, made up by the simple fact that it's made by people that genuinely love the source material. If this were any other generic sci-fi shooter, then it'd be forgotten in a heartbeat, but the Terminator license goes a long way in propelling the game, especially when its done so competently. The atmosphere, soundtrack, sound design and overall "feel" of the game tells you everything you need to know about Teyon's care for the IP, which would be just as strong in their next title. And much like Rogue City, and even the likes of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, this truly feels like a proper installment to the Terminator mythos in game form. I know that's rather big to say about a AA game, but given the movies that've been shoveled out past Judgement Day, I think I'm in the right to say it. If you're a big fan of the franchise, then I implore you you give this game a chance, if for nothing else, then for the nostalgia and badass moments. But if you are weary about not getting your money's worth, then it'd be best to wait for the game to go on sale. Overall, I give Terminator: Resistance an 8/10.

This is the perfect game when I want to have fun without putting in too much thought or learning. It has just enough action, leveling, grinding, and skill selections to hold my attention. You don't need to spend $70 on a AAA title.
Absolutely worth it, especially if you’re a fan of the Terminator universe or enjoy atmospheric, strategic shooters. The future war setting is where this game really shines. The atmosphere, scavenging, and overall feel genuinely make you feel like you’re surviving in a Terminator-controlled future. I’ve found myself checking every corner, looting everything I can, and trying to clear every outpost and robot I come across. There’s also a solid crafting system and skill progression that add depth to the gameplay, encouraging exploration and smart resource management. That said, Terminators are no joke. This is not a run-and-gun shooter. You need to approach encounters with a plan — positioning, stealth, and resource management actually matter. If you rush in, you’ll get shredded in seconds, which makes every fight feel tense and rewarding when you get it right. The music is another highlight — the use of licensed tracks really seals the deal and adds a lot to the overall atmosphere. On the downside, the voice acting leaves a lot to be desired, and while the storyline is serviceable, it doesn’t really stand out. Overall, this game really delivers on the Judgment Day post-apocalyptic fight and atmosphere. Highly recommended. Update after finishing the game (~13 hours): After completing the game, I can say the story really picks up as it goes on. There are some interesting twists and turns, It’s been a while since a game made me stop and think about my choices, and I really enjoyed that aspect. I’m definitely looking forward to trying the Infiltrator Mode next.
I really loved Robocop made by Teyon and decided to give Terminator:Resistance a go because of that. And I'm loving it. I see now how Robocop got inspired by similar mechanics and I really like how game is a shooter foremost, but has a basic RPG elements attached to it that adds sense of progression and achievement and slightly tailors your play style towards things you prefer to use. It's also interesting how their Terminator game feels like you're against much much more difficult foes where in Robocop it felt like I was the Terminator. They really nailed the feel right. I love semi open maps, I love poking through ruins and hoarding resources, gunplay actually feels pretty good, stealth actually works though I wish it was rewarding in its own way because shooting things gives you XP, but sneaking around gives you nothing so that's a bit of a missed opportunity. Deus Ex rewarded you for sneaking just by using alternate hidden paths which doesn't seem to be the case here but oh well. I really like how Teyon has evolved and how they actually make really good movie licensed games which is usually a very rare achievement. Most companies screw things up and just hope for the popular franchise name do the heavy lifting. But not Teyon. I still have to finish this game, but I'm really liking it so far. And I'm looking forward to what Teyon will cook up in the future. Keep up the good work lads!
Terminator: Resistance is a first person shooter. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic 2028 and 2029 Los Angeles. Players take on the role of Jacob Rivers, a soldier from the Resistance led by John Connor against Skynet's robotic killing machines. The nonlinear design means the player has multiple ending possible. The graphics are a good recreation from the movies. This game is alo available on the Xbox One. Played this on my Dell XPS 9570 with GTX 1050 Ti Max Q 4GB. My Dell has 3840x2160 UHD graphics. This game is designed for 1920x1080 but with some fixes it play on widescreen and UHD panels. A controller is very advisable using higher resolutions. My Dell 3480 has 1920x1080 graphics and this game is very playable with RTX graphics.
If you're a fan of the original movies, you'll enjoy this game. I liked the story, as well as the detail in the weapons and the world. The graphics aren't quite up to date anymore, but the gameplay is solid. For a small development studio like Teyon, this is a remarkable achievement.
It's with a heavy heart that I give this a thumbs down. The game runs great, has good atmosphere and very accurate lore. But the gameplay is a snorefest, it is clear that this has been developed by well intentioned, yet young and inexperienced developers. As a huge fan of Terminator, I tried really hard to like this but it simply didn't click for me.
