Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Wonderful game with an interesting story. Would recommend if you like point and click adventures and good detective stories
So far I only know the Blackwell series. I realy enjoyed them and I really recommend them to all fans of point & click adventures having a good story. Now in my opinion Technobabylon is a masterpiece. For a certain degree Dave Gilbert's Adventures all seem to have a philosophical core or bring up important questions ... the adventures enable us to discuss these questions and see what one way or the other might bring. For a game that has been published in 2015 I am really surprised how near the main topics of the game come the present. What did Dave already knew back in the early 2010th when he thought about the story and the plot of the game??? AI ... too much war in the world ... gen engineering ... global influence of the so called Greater Han ... people fleeing from the 'flesh world' into the so called 'trance' ... And 2026 almost all of this seems to be reality or close to it. Ok the trance isn't at hand yet but 2087 is still 61 years to go. Apart of my thougts about the topics ... here is a bit experience with the game itself: * no crash, no technical problems * simple but good interface * autosave * needed a guide only one or two times but * not too easy to solve the puzzles * exciting story with elements of murder mystery in a not too far future * some puzzles come as a kind of in-game game * tasks and puzzles are sometimes alike but do not repeat * plot twist included * one or two decisions to be made which seem to alter the further course of the game * ... I look forward for more of Wadjet Eye Games !

Interesting and immersive sci-fi point and click. 9/10
Bought this game 10 years ago, finally decided to play it for real. And lucky I did, as I really liked Technobabylon. The game has great art: graphics, music. Writing is also decent, and voice actors do a good job. Puzzles were manageable, didn't have to look a walkthrough once, but I was stumped quite a few times. Got through in the end after some thought, and many problems even have alternative solutions (and achievements for all of those, so save often if you want to unlock everything). To my knowledge, you can't get stuck and in the few places you can die, the game just gives you another chance anyway. Story gave something to think about in this day and age of AI. The game was also long enough, didn't overstay it's welcome, and wasn't too short. All in all, recommendations for any point-and-click adventure fan. The game's not expensive, and currently even on sale for about 4 Euro which is a steal for this quality. Made me look up their other games and surprise surprise, I seem to have bought Gemini Rue at some point. Maybe I'll tackle that next!
👁️ Technobabylon: Una brillante y madura distopía cyberpunk ★★★★★ (9.0/10)
Just like another personal favourite from the mid-2010s, The Journey Down (in fact, I decided to get here after reviewing that), Technobabylon originated as a freeware production from the beginning of that decade, three chapters with simple graphics released before silence, and re-emerged some years later as a full-blown production courtesy of Wadjet Eye. It comes naturally to me to draw comparisons with another personal classic with a cyberpunk setting, 1994's Beneath A Steel Sky, especially as there are parts where players, as Latha, have to enter cyberspace (here called "Trance") using her avatar Mandala, with an appropriately more cartoonish look for her and other users. However, while this game has its moments of levity (like working with the circuitry of French maid androids), is definitely much darker, the world feels even more grungy, the dystopia is full-blown in parts, like that specialized restaurant - the conversation with the cook is so surreal, one of the best moments. Regis and Lao have to work on really gruesome crime scenes, and some considerations about the risks of the use of AI are eerily closer to the reality of the mid-2020s. The graphics, mostly the work of a single artist, feature amazing backgrounds that could've been easily produced by the "majors" of adventure gaming in the mid-90s. I'd go as far as saying the low resolution (not clear if it's due to limitations of the Adventure Game Studio engine or a voluntary choice) hurts them a bit, with some details becoming excessively smudged, but it also helps with giving an used, lived-in look to even the cleanest laboratory. The characters are less excellent, the spritework is overall good but most of them seem to be drawn over a single template, same height, same static pose with arms on the sides. At least they are complemented by detailed close-up portraits for conversations, several of them with changing expressions. All in all, pixel art enjoyers can feast here. Puzzles are a mixed bag, some good and intuitive, others what I'd call "more complicated than complex", as they force many tedious passages with machinery and computers, especially when Latha's wetware is involved. They however take a backseat to the story and dialogue, even more in later chapters, as the characters move a lot into gray moral areas, with motivations that are as questionable as they are sympathetic. While Latha felt annoying at times, I'd say that for most of the story she has good reasons to be angry about earlier events. Shame that you can effectively play as Lao only for one chapter, this is mostly Regis and Latha's story - but a good one, engaging, with excellent world-building, a few genuinely interesting questions on ethics, and endings that are good for the main characters but leave much wider implications for the setting. Also props for the Mindjacker, one of the most odious, smarmy, punchable villains I've experienced in a game, very satisfying to bring him down. Of course fans of cyberpunk settings must get Technobabylon but it's very recommended in general. Huge shame that a sequel, which was shown to be switching to 3D but keeping an oldschool vibe, has fallen into development hell.
Thanks, this is certainly a cool game.
I like the control in this game, the interaction is good. But there are many bugs in this game. The tab+shift shortcut might not be available. I play the game with controller, it happens 2 times that when I click LB/RB button and the game was suddenly terminated so I lost my progress. Besides, the font of texts is really hard to read but you have so many text to read and it hurts my eyes! It’s not a bad game but I have a bad experience. And you don’t have the function of showing hotspots, that’s not friendly too.
Highly recommended Point & Click, great story, soundtrack, one of my favourites so far
