Fun, beautiful playground. Music is amazing, vibes peak all around. So much thought and care went into all the little mechanics and systems. Very rewarding exploration when you discover new power songs.
Really fun! I thought it was just going to be mainly about a girl sailing to different islands and finding different items which it is that. It's mostly fetch-questing. However, there are also things that I was not expecting like using magic to posses animals and inanimate objects, using cow feces as bombs, setting fabric monsters on fire, a baby-eating worm-alien-man, death, and dismemberment. There is a way to turn off (or at least reduce) the level of violence, but then I'd be missing out on some disturbing and/or weird content. There are a ton of clothing attire that you can mix and match which gives you different attribute boosts. You can also decorate your sail boat with different colors and flags. Best to try to increase your magic meter so you can possess birds for a longer time because flying is the best way to travel.
I got this game on a sale expecting a cute short game, small map. Boy was I wrong. This game is big, in more ways than one. I would buy this game on a sale or not, yes its that worth it. I wouldnt worry about the DLC(I got it) unless you plan on using those items :-)
Labour of love. Beautiful little game, and awesome story. I loved it.
A great mostly free-form exploration-based Zelda-like with cozy world design, stress-free activities and adorable characters and animals/objects to transform into.
Love it.
