This feels and plays like a mobile game. The main attacks are pushing rocks or dropping objects onto enemies because this will also stun them (unlike your attacks that also seem to miss more than the enemies). This kind of play also makes any cover a threat. New abilities are random but i guess this is to make the units feel different with 4 classes. There is a bit of base building (for upgrades) and you can have more than 1 squad (i think 3 max). There is perma death and you can turn it off but if your squad dies you may lose them all, perma on or off. you also may or may not lose them if they die in a fight. The game is ok if you lack something better but there is better. The systems just end up being more frustrating then fun so i'ed say pass on this.
I really like strategic games with the round action, like "X-COM". But with 9 hours of playing this game, I'm done with this one. Only 4 classes, random abilities in the level up (rare, uncommon and common... someone is playing too much Magic), a flawed difficulty system (12 monsters and 3 monsters are rated difficulty 3... but without any area attack - I'm looking to you, mage - multiple monsters are a real TPK factor)... to me this game seems a waste of time.
Fort Triumph is a procedural generated turn-based tactics game with RPG and base management elements. The game blends different elements well so that players can enjoy every aspect of the game.
The game offers:

4 different factions (the campaign focuses on one faction only. Skirmish allows you to choose from all 4 factions). All factions share some common buildings. Each faction has its own buildings that provide different bonuses.
4 different hero classes are shared between factions without faction-specific skills.
Base building element: there are quite a few buildings and building upgrades you can choose from, depending on the available resources and spots left in your base (you cannot build everything)
Hero management: [olist]
Hero management: Hero party upgrades make even Legendary difficulty easy.
Skills to choose or enhance when a hero levels up(some are super helpful and a must-have, and some are rarely used).
Items you can pick up from the ground or events (some are super helpful and a must-have, and some are rarely used).
Hero traits: Each hero will randomly get one upon hire, which can be removed from events. There are also events on the map that allow heroes to learn new traits (up to 3 traits) [/olist]
Destructive environment: as the game mentioned, "Every tree or boulder is a potential weapon in battle."
Procedural generated maps: The map will change even if you retry a mission.

What I enjoyed:

The humor in the game. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3401636528 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3403007117 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3403007629
Destruction of the environment provides many ways to damage enemies (and your heroes). It would be a normal attack, a fallen tree/stone column, hit by a rolling boulder, exploding barrels, or your teammates. Enemy will take advantage of the environment as well. There are so many times that I move my heroes behind a tree to get the full cover bonus for ranged attacks, only to be pushed down by an enemy mage ability.
A huge variety of skills that create amazing combo attacks. Combined with a destructive environment, you will be surprised that a repel arrow or stump can kill or stun 5+ enemies in one go. This is the most fun part of the game, in my opinion.
Challenging early game. Difficulty slowly reduces as you build necessary building and party upgrades.
100% achievement hunting friendly. If you played on the hardest difficulty, the only achievement left to collect should be the skirmish one.

What I wish the game would improve:
Voice over. The jokes and humor would be better if the lines were voiced. Limited replayability: once you beat the campaign and play a few skirmish games, you pretty much see and experience everything. As much as I like the combat, the joy will go away after 100 combat encounters. The campaign story is kinda generic. The only thing I think I would replay would be to try to get the best traits and best items for a lone hero to clear the whole map.
What I dislike:
Slow loading screen and enemy turns when there are more than 5 enemies on the map. I am unsure if it is because I played it on a laptop. Mid to late-game battle loading screen can be 10 to 30 seconds long. Then, you have to wait the same amount of time after the battle as the game brings you back to the game map. Overall, Fort Triumph is a different take on tactical turn-based combat games. Give it a try, and you won't be disappointed!
你我本无缘,只因key一块钱
If some one or 'somting' is standing in your way, just kick them around the map to they die, trow in some water/ice strom then sitt back and watch them slide into each other like bowlingballs. Strike! 10/10
Fun enough to play...lots of freedom of action but not hard to learn. Clever dialogue...relatively short campaign...clearly meant for players to explore skirmish but game play not compelling enough for me with a story line. Worth a play through for certain!
Pretty nice game. It's short, lighthearted and not overly complex. The main gimmick is using the environment to fight and it's pretty fun. It becomes repetitive quite fast but since it's a short game it doesn't bother me that much. Kinda reminds me of Dungeon of Naheulbeuk for the storytelling aspect.
The strategic map is similar to Age of Wonders: your parties of heroes roam around the map fighting groups of enemies, collecting loot and capturing resource producing buildings. Combat is turn based, moderately complicated but fast paced. There are 4 character classes all with interesting skills. Due to the somewhat random way that new skills are made available at level up, different traits the characters can have, and powerful artifacts they can have, no two characters of the same class will play exactly the same, so the limited number of classes isn't at all boring. The game has two modes: campaign and skirmish. Campaign mode is single player and there are specific scripted fights you need to do to progress through the story. The scripted dialogue is quite hilarious. Skirmish mode is multi-player or against AI players. I'm enjoying the game a lot and it was an incredible bargain for me to it on sale for around $5.
How would I describe this game? Pretty good. Granted, it needs work, but as an overall game? These are the only real flaws. (Based on my honest opinion.) = Only 4 classes. = Only 4 playable races. = No mod content support. It's a good game, but any more than 5 USD for this game? It's rather pricy. (Luckily, I got my copy as a gift from my big bro via a Steam code.)
слишком все пестрое, понакрутили цветов, не увидеть среди этой дикости самих героев. за 20 минут глаза устали как будто пол дня сидел играл. Также музыка бесячая, выключил это занудство позорное. В общем может и идея хорошая, но реализация плохая
