10/10 - Completely Addicted to My Card Shop! I went into this game expecting a chill little time-killer, but I’m now dozens of hours in and still can’t put it down. TCG Card Shop Simulator (Trading Card Shop Simulator) perfectly captures the vibe of running a real local card shop in the most addictive way possible. You start small — unpacking boxes, stocking shelves, setting prices, and hoping your customers don’t smell too bad (yes, that’s actually a thing and it’s hilarious 😂). Before you know it, you’re expanding the store, hosting tournaments, cracking packs yourself, and chasing rare cards. The loop of shop management mixed with that sweet dopamine hit of opening boosters is dangerously good. What I love most: Customers have real personality (and sometimes questionable hygiene) Progression feels super satisfying You can truly build and customize your dream shop That perfect “just one more pack/customer/day” feeling If you’ve ever loved Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic, or cozy simulators like Supermarket Simulator, this is an absolute must-play. For the price, it delivers way more fun than expected. Honestly one of the most surprisingly enjoyable games I’ve played recently. Big thanks to the devs for creating this gem! 🃏✨ Highly recommended — go build your card empire!
the only problem is they never pdate the game
When I had lower self-worth I spent a lot of time around Yu-Gi-Oh players and I completely resonate with the part of the game where you have to spray stinky players with aerosol fragrances. 10/10 realism.
I was wanting to 100% this game before I wrote a review for it however I didn't because I have an insane problem with the game despite it being SO fun for the first and middle stretch of the game. This is still a massively great game, all the cards are very well designed and this scratches the itch for those who have always wanted to open their own card shop like me growing up having card games as a hobby and going to stores to play at local tournaments. Additionally has many other products your store can invest into than just cards to allow you to fully develop a cozy store that you can enjoy for a good portion of the game. HOWEVER, the late game and late game achievements is an absolutely pain and beyond chores to the point that it is NOT worth doing. Additionally customers just do extremely abnormal purchases, even if you suspend reality you still look at certain purchases these NPCs do and wonder why you are still open with these fiends needlessly spending money just to empty their bank accounts, I can understand NPC's buying however much they want of Packs of the Boxes because I too have bought far too many booster packs at one time in my life, BUT THERE IS ZERO REASON FOR THESE NPCS TO BE BUYING 8 OF THE SAME PLAYMAT. It makes zero sense and kind of ruins the vibe of the game that these customers can make insanely stupid purchases that kills your mental as you now need to stop checking people out to refill your shelf because an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ decided he wanted to scalp your shelf of one playmat. Nobody in the real world would EVER buy multiple of the same playmat unless you are a scalper, and if you are going to tell me you have or you're a scalper you need psyciatric help. Some of the products should be limited to 1 when it comes to these purchases because nothing is more infuriating that seeing someone walk to your counter and slap down 20 playmats, 10/10 of the same ones too. I love this game, but man, please make your endgame better, I cant keep up with my customers endless hunger and greed as they constantly wipe my shelves in late game and I don't even make that much money from it late game. You make the most profit off cards and graded cards, product just becomes a needless chore so your customers dont leave you bad reviews like you left one on Popeyes for not giving you enough ketchup.
wish it had multiplayer
Quality is really good, but I just can't with the whole locking everything behind levels. Sim games are often already a waiting game, but if I gotta wait for enough people to have visited my store ON TOP of earning enough money then what am I playing it for? The whole appeal of sim games is being able to do your thing in a sandbox, but that's kinda negated when I get told what I can and can't place per level on top of the costs.
I wanted to like this game and I do like it for a lot of reasons. The reason for the neg review is simple, big money cards are completely worthless in the game because of the progression wall the devs use. By the time you can get a customer that can actually buy a 20k+ card, you won't need the money anymore. This makes the best cards in the game a downer when you pull them instead of reason to celebrate. It kills any joy when you get a lucky pull, which is kinda why people open trading card packs in the first place.
