ai slop. I bought, played and enjoyed this game very much. However, it is not made clear that the company they used, UGC90, uses ai as a base for their design. I only found this out by searching for their website and reading their synopsis. I am angry that the use of ai was not clearly stated on the store page. It's too late for me to get a refund, but I will not play this game anymore, nor will I ever buy from this company.
After about 8 hours playtime I am on day 25 and level 33. Here is my review. Pros: -Its like TCG Card Shop Sim -Feels like it is a promising start to the shop sim game type -Shop automation -Good gacha capsule hits feel good -The events like the customer surge is a really cool idea even when you get the bad ones like sumo or yakuza ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up your machines. -The robot battle is a cool idea too. Betting on a boxing match of 2 robots to increase profit, sweet. -Pacing feels really good of income to upgrades Cons: -Petting the cats each day to boost luck gets very tedious especially when they are scattered around and the animation takes a while each day -Upgrading gacha machines is really a pain because it takes quite a while to empty other machines to restock the new ones and then you need to run each machine out to the trash/recycle machine. Also you have to suspend robot automations or they keep trying to stock them while you empty them to the new machines. -Not adding more trash cans was a mistake or an oversight. You waste a lot of time when upgrading machines and re-upping supplies taking the boxes to the bins outside -Making us have to use the machine to get luck boost vs ripping the capsules out of the box is annoying. You added a way to skip the capsule animation which is cool but why do we have to spend 30 seconds each time we open 5x to put coins in and then have to empty the coins to pull again? It is cool for the first dozen times but gets old fast. Either add a way to clear coins from the machine via the in game menu without backing out each time to clear or remove this entirely. -Content is lacking. Sure it is early access but considering this is basically a clone of TCG I was really hoping that there would be more here.... I feel like I beat the game at 8 hours in. All there is left is to buy more shop space, but for what? No more capsule license to buy and even if there were, the stuff in the capsules are super limited. -Higher license capsules really don't feel more rewarding even in the higher end machines. I hardly notice a difference in openings later in the game vs the start. Possible Bugs (or things that need fixing) -The black gacha machine was not sticking correctly -When opening capsules if a customer, worker or robot walks in front of you it blocks the visuals of the capsule opening -When you are mass opening capsules sometimes the interaction menu glitches out and you have to run away from the machine and click elsewhere, run back to the machine and then the menu to open capsules reappears -Robots do not help repair money swapping machines TLDR: Was it worth the price? Eh.... not so much. It has roughly the same price tag as TCG but a fraction of the content. At least this has promise considering its early access. I'd personally wait until more content is added though.
Love the game so far for it being Early Access. I definitely can't wait for the scanner to be added. Not the biggest fan of how the restocking mechanic is right now but still an enjoyable game! (Furniture/Decors in the future mayhaps?)
Chill with a cool collecting fix. Cats and robots hang out in my store while i collect maids, dinosaurs, and food. Has a bright future. How its designed, it will be easy for the devs to add whatever they want. Be cool for mods too.
Great game if you love Sims. Looking forward to more content updates. I'm 20 hours in and almost at max unlocks for now. Worth the money!
