Tales of Zestiria

To summarize alot of the other reviews. Not the best game in the series. Suffers from Optimization issues. One of the best combat systems in the series. Story isn't anything to write home about. Decent story about a young lad who can see the spirits and merge with elements effectively making him the Dragonborn and Herald of the end times descending upon the realm. Music is ok, wasn't' terrible, sounds matched the environment. You won't hear heavy metal walking through towns and it's not going to play lo-fi while you are fighting to save the world. The music fits and plays its role. Voice acting - The dub voice acting is good. We of course get to hear the majestic tones of Patrick Seitz, if you watch dubbed anime and play dubbed videogames you should already know who this is. That man is never out of work in Japan because he delivers and sets the bar for the other English VAs. Very passionate about his voice acting career and takes it seriously. Combat, I could write a book on the combat but I'm not going to. It's different from every tales game both before and after. Price: No, It's not worth full price especially with DLC slapping on almost 70$ USD but it is 100% worth on a good sale if you are looking for your next JRPG, although you definitely want to keep in mind that there are some optimization issues and as usual you will either be a lucky one who runs into no problems or you will experience the same issues as others. e.g. screen tearing, fps drops, even crashing. Tales of vesperia much better..story Quit Boring

its hard to say i like it more then i dislike it. i love the art of the world the characters are pretty neat the voice acting is good. the story is kinda mid, the equipment system is a bit much to learn, trying to grind for a level up is a slog, and the last boss of the game is just awful at least for me.

Game locked at 30fps. Trash

After playing Tales of Symphonia, Tales of Zestiria feels like a joke. The gameplay got worse, the mechanics became clunkier, and while the graphics improved, everything else went downhill to the point where I just couldn’t enjoy it. Story is OK.

就剧情逻辑而言个人觉得比新作TOA和动画合理得多。 “真の仲間”看下来也没有什么波澜，不知道是戳到二次元可怜的哪儿了。你说官方初期宣传和实际游玩不符我认可，你说剧情有问题公主应该入队，我只能说不愧是二刺猿（虽然我是一国的公主，虽然国家动荡，但我就是应该抛下一切去旅行。）。 扣分的点在于大地图和战斗手感不怎么样，大地图在下一代TOB反而做的更烂（喜欢我吃豆人吗），但战斗手感优化了不少。

Game is a little rough, some bugs with sound that prevent the game launching unless your sound is set to 44khz. Things that could be easily fixed but aren't for some reason. Otherwise, game play is pretty good. A bit repetitive but the story and sound track are good. Worth picking up on sale.

Every now and then I wonder why I never finished this game, so I start a new save. 3 to 4 hours into new save: "Man this sh** is boring"
