Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
I got this game because I loved the previous games in the Tales series, namely Phantasia, Symphonia, and Vesperia, and I went into this one wanting to love this one too, and I tried, but after so many hours an trying to make it through a playthrough to be objective, I just couldn't anymore. Maybe it was from playing Visions of Mana and the 2019 Trials of Mana remake right before this that gave me too high expectations, becauser they were amazing, but Zestiria was not those things. Even compared to older Tales games it was just bad. I felt like I was just punishing myself trying to force myself through a whole playthrough after making it through two of the Elemental trials, and it was mostly thanks to the Spirit Chain system. Having a system that short of using Blast Gauges to refill requires idling or forcefully guarding to wait and recharge, and on top of that making that system affect ALL attacks, because there are no regular attacks anymore because anything you do is considered an arte now sucks the fun out of combat, not to mention the Martial Artes can't be configured how you want, which on the whole feels like a step down from the gameplay of Vesperia. I can't even shortcut the artes of my partners, something I could easily do in Symphonia and Vesperia (and while not able to shortcut, could still tell characters what to do in Phantasia with ease). Honestly, I just want my TP back. Why can't I just have TP, game? Another gripe is the fusing system, which feels like you need a degree in some arcane witchcraft to know the skills change without a guide, which just led to me mostly slapping things together without abandon or care for the skills, and the fact the names had to match to fuse felt like a way to hamstring the mechanic. On top of this, eventually you figure out by leveling the shopkeeps you can just buy better gear than what you can bother with fusing, even stuff that is fused 15 times over. Looking through guides on how to fuse told me about sanctifying and other multipliers from Hard Mode and higher difficulty drops, and only told me about EVEN MORE HIDDEN MECHANICS at play, namely the odds of getting a x3 vs. a x2 multiplier, and how if you're not careful, you can LOSE your multiplier in a bad fusion. All of this, the lack of regular attacks that don't sap this god awful Spirit Chain, the fusion systems, the hidden mechanics, and Mikleo, eventually pushed me too far, and I had to quit. It's like they had a good thing with Vesperia and had to go and wreck it. I hope things get better in Berseria and Arise, which I plan to go to next.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a game I had to give a second chance. My first time playing I didn't understand the combat and was just button mashing my way through. Giving the game a second chance and taking my time to understand its tutorials and gameplay, this game's combat became fun and satisfying as I was able to string together long combos on enemies. Combat gives a lot to think about. Combo flexibility, weaknesses, chaining together with allies, along as interesting ways to use defense such as timing Armatization. Super fun! Sometimes I don't really like Armatization much so I try avoid using it too much unless absolutely must or for dodging. Story was nice and fun character interactions with interesting dynamics. Story is like any other shonen adventure (and you guys love that kind of stuff) Only issue I had was fusing skills on equipment, but everything else makes up for it that I end up forgetting about the gear once I have a good setup.
ABSOLUTE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP
japanese audio but no japanese interface or subtitles, they intentionally removed it from the international release, very confusing decision.
Good Game
Pro: Eccellente ost, ampiamente la miglior ost dei Tales of. Ottimo doppiaggio giapponese.
This game has some of the WORST writing i have ever seen in a JRPG and that is saying something . All i'll say is Rose is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ character and i hope whoever wrote her and this story got fired.
