The. Best. Tales of. Game.
If you touch your keyboard once it'll make Yuri Controlled by the keyboard and mouse in combat, but not in the world, even if kb+m is set to player 2, and no you can't disable kbm OR player 2. You won't know if you have the correct controls until you go into a battle, so be prepared to alt+f4 to restart the game and skip cutscenes if you want to play this game with a controller. Also combat is stupidly clunky, you get a trickle feed of new things you can do in combat over the course of like 10 hours, and you're gonna have a terrible time in the early game because you have so few abilities, and can basically only do the basic attack into dash, which you can actually cancel with a dashing guard, NOT THAT THE GAME WOULD EVER TELL YOU THAT. Prepare to get lost, often. The game just hits you with a story beat and then you don't really have a clue where it is, or where you need to be to trigger a cutscene for progressions, you just kinda aimlessly wander until you find what you're looking for by accident. The music is fine, the story is fine, the characters range from meh to ok, except for Yuri who is a great main character. I understand there is a lot of love for this game, and I intend to finish it, but I find myself struggling to boot this game up in my free time knowing the frustrations I'm about to endure EVERY SINGLE TIME.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Shame they didn't bring back Troy Baker as the lead role for this. Still a fun game, probably the best story out of any Tales game at least
Pretty good game. 100% full achievement clear. I was pretty surprised by how good this game was in just about everything. The story / world / characters are amazing. The combat is hard but there's a lot to learn and master. Even though it feels intimidating at first, once you fully unlock and understand your characters there is actually a lot to it. I'm honestly not even sure what it was that kept me playing this for so long but I took my time with this game and didn't really get bored even after dumping 400 hours into it. (A lot of it was afk farming but still that's a lot) I'm giving this a 9/10. Yuri has become one of my favorite video game protagonists of all time. It's not often I play or watch something and after think to myself, "I can't believe I hadn't experienced this before and I'm so glad I have these memories now" and this was one of those. Modern game devs... Please make games that have soul and passion like this does. And maybe give us another protagonist like Yuri. Single player games fail now-a-days not because people don't play them, but because no one is making games we want to play.
actually beat this game cause my tiny little pea brain couldnt beat it 6 years ago
