Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

This is not fun... I played through the first day of gameplay, which took approx. 42 minutes. In those 42 minutes, this is what I learned: Hobbits are rude and stupid, Nobody has any kind of memory, and hobbits fight with food. But not in the fun way. I'm not even 100% sure who this game is made for. It doesn't seem to be very good at anything. Everything is slow, and time-consuming (which I get is the point to the day-cycle). I dunno. It just feels like at best its slow and boring, and at worst its tedious and time-wasting. I think the best thing I saw was the fishing, but I'm not sure if that's even worth the time it takes to do. At no point did I feel like anything I was doing was worth doing, and It said I was only like 34% complete with the tutorial after wasting an entire day being forced to wander around and chit chat with a bunch of degenerate lay-abouts while completing menial tasks that feel pointless and forced. Hard pass on this one, peeps. Refunded. (PS: My Computer's Name is Helm's Deep. I am a huge LotR fan, but this ain't it. Trust me.)

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Honestly, if there was a "Meh" option instead of just Yes or No, I'd go for it. I was very hyped for this game for a looooonnnng long time, cause I love the farming sim genre and I love LotR, so I thought this would be perfect. Maybe that's why it was a little underwhelming. I did see all the reviews and complains before I got it, but I still enjoy it, which is why the review is positive, BUT! I don't come back to this game and go straight to other more appealing ones. I would say yeah, go for it and try it yourself, but maybe wait for a sale.
Super cozy and fun! Love that there is a continuing story and quests to do around the Shire
It is quite fun in the beginning and doing the story. It gets repetitive fast and stale. Get it on sale if you wish to play a bit whimsical for a short time in the universe we all love and cherish.
Waited a while for this game and im a HUGE Lord of the Rings fan but the game just seems life-less. I really think a Animal crossing or Stardew type of multiplayer would have made this game better. Its hard to get into a game with NPCs that arent voiced over. the world very immersive and the Cooking and Fishing is very bland. One day we'll get a good Lord of the Rings game again!
As much as I'm enjoying this game, I really don't think I can recommend it. It's a great "podcast" game... I like to do something while I'm listening to a podcast and this is great for that. But after finishing the main story and getting to the epilogue (which only takes about 10 hours), playing the game without a video or podcast on in the background is painfully boring. I do enjoy the cooking, which involves trying to find the "sweet spot" for each step in the recipe, as well as seasoning to specific flavor profiles. The fishing mini game is also pretty decent, although the music gets pretty repetitive. Other than fishing, gathering, and cooking (and hosting meals, which other than the cooking process are just a cutscene) there's literally nothing to do. For a game about freaking HOBBITS it's shocking that there are no seasonal festivals or villager birthdays. I'm not the biggest LotR fan but there are some design decisions that leave me scratching my head. Why is everyone so cheery? When have hobbits ever literally skipped around? Where are the grumpy hobbits who seem plentiful in the books? Why are there so many NPCs I can't interact with, who don't show up in any of the main story cutscenes, who are ALSO weirdly cheery in the text bubbles that pop up when you walk by? The economy in this game is also very frustrating. I notice most of my income comes from selling fish since I need to keep other produce for cooking, and in order to sell something you have to run into town and interact with a merchant rather than having something like the box on your farm in Stardew Valley. This game also feels like an early access title sometimes. For example, it seems like they intended for multiplayer at some point; there are SO MANY emotes that serve literally no purpose other than photo mode I guess? I already mentioned the lack of festivals and birthdays, which leads to seasons feeling empty and repetitive. There are also some very annoying - albeit not game breaking - bugs that I've frequently run into. For example, when grabbing items from your pantry to sell, the UI will just randomly lock up and force you to re-tab back to the items you were pulling out of the pantry. Lastly the performance is abysmal. Other reviews mention it, but the game looks like a PS3 game and runs like garbage. With my 1080 TI I can thankfully get 60 FPS on the lowest settings, and I don't care too much about how it looks but there is absolutely no reason the game should run the way that it does. Overall, I cannot recommend this game as much as I want to. I'll probably keep playing it since it's something to do while I'm watching/listening to something else, but don't buy it if you're looking for a game to put all your focus into.
After returning to the game since it first released, it's really disappointing to see how it's turned out. I enjoyed it at first, it was cute, cosy and the decorating system is good! But everything else lacks. The game had good foundations for something more, but with no updates so far it seems more and more unlikely something good will rise from this unfortunate flop. You finish the game's bland story too quickly, and after that it's "completionist mode" from about 40%, but there isn't enough substance for me to want to 100% it. Very minimal sound effects or VA (if any), the meals - being the main focus of the gameplay, have repetitive interactions/animations and it feels so lifeless and sad. It also runs terribly. I'd only buy this game for less than a tenner if you're even considering it :(
