About
When Ed accepted the challenge of surviving exactly 20 days and 20 nights in The Demonic Conveyor Belt (D.C.B), he thought his Elite Mastery Professor had been exaggerating that it was 'the most feared dungeon of all'. This thought quickly disappeared into the fog surrounding him, when he passed through the gates of the dungeon to find the largest eyeball he'd ever seen. Would he forever remain just Ed, or could he become Talent Ed?

This suits my preferences much more than other survivors games because the gameplay is focused on the planning and skill tree building rather than aimlessly walking around in other games.
EDIT: The devs are really into it. They changed the problem from my last review in no time. Thanks! 10/10 Old review: Endgame is clicking 1-5 Buttons on Keyboard. No ingame autoclicker. Annoying. Loved it until this crap. Breaking my heart - is a good game but this is sh*t. Kind regards...
Achievements locked behind paywall, apart from from game itself being EXTREMELY grindy and starting out slow as hell. Talent tree is fairly simplistic/linear so it being random becomes a pure negative in my book. Is it possible to have fun? Yeah, most likely but at a price of huge time investment and at a mercy of RNG. No thank you, I made a mistake with this purchase so someone else doesn't have to.
nted is a strange guy but his tale is great
I really enjoy the game so far! Each character has their own way of defending itself and there are various hostile mobs that have their own way of attacking. If you like a tower defense + survival sort of games, I'd suggest it.
A fun game with simple controls. There are times when it seems too random, until you have a breakthrough thought and a slightly different approach to the talent tree makes everything flow smoothly. It's very run based so it appeals to short play sessions and long "one more round" sessions. Each character is the same in the sense that they each use basic attacks and a selection of abilities, but each can have different special stats and systems that change the approach to the game. I think that they're all distinct enough to each bring something special and interesting to the game. The dlcs are interesting. Besides adding new classes and talents, the modes are well thought out. The base game has a series of enemies traveling at you from the four cardinal directions. You fight them off with your basic attack (a simple button in that direction on the keyboard) and use abilities. The enemy variety and strength increases each round (night) while you visit your talent tree to pick up stats, passives, and abilities. The dlcs modify this by introducing waves, curated combinations of enemies instead of random, and gauntlet, where the talent tree between rounds has you choosing how to strengthen the enemies instead of yourself. Talented is what you see is what you get game. There is no story but the gameplay is fun and addictive while remaining simple to understand but with some depth to the approach with challenges, different modes, and different characters.
This game is a blast; it's simple; with a great pull and overall it has only gotten better with each updates. I went through all of the current content; with 100% completion after way too many hours of enjoyment; so uh; get this if you want; but know it may pull you deep.
Looks good, but plays in an extremely repetitive manner after your first run. It also does the classic "cheap roguelite" thing where you can only reach the next difficulty by beating the game on the previous difficulty level even though the gameplay is mindlessly simple until difficulty 6++.
you have to play right for 10min then for the next 10 minutes you virtually cannot die, and ends up just there waiting between the interstages. The random tree is so big that everything averages out, no choice is truely meaningful, I got bored with that game.
The game is so good and both dlcs are great too. It well worth the $6 and $3 for both dlcs
