Every time I've tried to get into this I end up quitting due to finding it a frustrating mess.

1 - Life is too short. 2 - Game is too confusing. 3 - UI is a mess. 4 - No borderless windowed in 2025 is a joke.

I like the game, but it's abandoned so don't buy it for full price or avoid if you have any expectations more than a tiny bit of fun, EDIT: It's far from finished.

It's a game that's for a very specific audience. The game is very long and tedious, everything takes ages because of the chase of realism. I personally find this aspect relaxing, but it's not for everyone. My biggest problem with the game is the horrible optimization. The game's engine is horribly outdated and for example the lights are a huge cause of lag.

TL;DR: best mars game, good gameplay but slow paced. For $5, it's a steal. This is the best mars crafting survival game, its simply miles ahead of stuff like "Occupy mars" or "terraform mars" despite being over 10 years old. It works fine. doesn't need a powerful GPU, has low res textures but looks surprisingly good overall. It's a very slow paced game, and has a few drawbacks - 2017 lighting, very dark nights. But the UI is great, the gameplay is good, and with some speedhacking (or mods for night skipping) its actually pretty good.

the game is neat. Its got some(sometimes alot of) jank, its a little dated, but its got a depth to it. Walking around like a spaceman in a big suit is a lilttle tedious, but then again you ARE in a large bulky suit. Some talented modders have improved the game over the years, so of course I'm using those. I get the mixed reviews, Edit: Bonus points for being able to run at the windshield and knock myself the ♥♥♥♥ out from within the cabin

Great old game. It's not abandoned - it's finished. It's 10 years old. Still better than early access garbage we get now
