QANGA: 750 years after humanity's fall, you must survive in a shattered world where Earth itself demands vengeance. Tear through the fabric of space to face the Voss, awaken the ancient civilisation, and dare to challenge the Sanglines, born from the bowels of a world that condemned you.

This is what Star Citizen wants to be. I bought this game when it first came to EA and refunded because I wasn't having a great time with it. Here I am revisiting it now, with only a few hours under my belt having a blast. The latest updates are showing great potential and really make this feel like what I wanted Star Citizen to be like. I can't wait to see where this game keeps going and I would like to help keep funding the devs whenever possible, but unlike Star Citizen; they're not charging absurd amounts of money to buy er I mean "pledge" new ships. Commendable, but I want to fund them so they keep making this beauty more beautiful! I recommend it highly. It will not disappoint.
Currently pretty bare. All of the activity is on Earth, the Moon has spaceports but not much to do with them and everything is copy pasted. There are missions on Earth but they tend to break. Most of my play time was spent troubleshooting the tutorial and a couple missions that wouldn't work. Welcome to Early Access. I think there would need to be some very substantial patches and content additions for the game to be release ready by next year. Don't buy it if you want a game to play, buy it if you want to invest in a potential game.
Not sure if I caught it at a bad time. Offline mode didn't work, the game just got stuck in a loading state. Online mode didn't work either, every time I tried to join a server it looped back to the main menu. Only thing playable was the tutorial. Hope this gets resolved so we can try it out in the future.
All though it a game I can put lots of hours in...the game is very broken...it wont load up to and save...so you play it once and quit it...that is it!...you cant carry on...the devs cant be bothered...cos this isnt the first review like this....I got a quite powerful computer and didnt have no problems playing it...the tutorial was also broken for me...couldnt complete it...got the note and the code for the door...opened the door...and it just said...examine the note to get the code of it...anything in this state it doesnt look good for the future...if you cant get the tutorial to work and you cant get into your last save...well....avoid this game!
I have absolutely no clue how anyone in their right mind can compare this in any way to Star Citizen. I've invested thousands of hours into SC and this game is not similar to it in ANY way, shape, or form. It is my believe that the majority of reviews are fabricated somehow, and I will never trust a positive review on a game ever again. A completely dead world with nothing around except for a few identical looking cyborgs who dont do anything. Occasionally you will run into something that looks like a facehugger with no animations; it just floats around over the ground. The graphics are probably the worst ive seen in a long time really. Anyone who says this has reasonable graphics in any form are either completely blind or on heavy drugs. There is no potential for anything from this game, and theres nothing that could be done or added in to this to make it any better except for a complete wipe and starting over the creation of a brand new game. EDIT: Yes 30 mins of playtime was not enough time to test out a lot of the other aspects of the game, but I apologize I just could not sit through another minute of it. I really tried. Also...I see you recently edited your reply while I was replying to this where you were saying I couldnt have played your game for thousands of hours when I have only 30 mins playtime and yea...thats why I wrote 'time playing SC'
Above all else, Qanga is an absolute treat for exploration fans. Getting lost in this vast universe gives you an incredible sense of freedom right from the very first few hours. The atmosphere is gripping and genuinely makes you feel like a pioneer discovering a new world. Since it's an Early Access title still laying its foundations, it’s best approached with curiosity and an open mind. If you enjoy supporting ambitious, long-term projects and watching a universe evolve with each update, definitely give it a go. The developers have built a fantastic foundation, and the potential for what this game could eventually become is simply massive!
I decided to give the game a try as it looked really good. Sadly, the game ran extremely hot on my pc - hitting 95 degrees at some points. Ive seen posts in discussions where other people are saying its the users hardware - its not! - My pc is brand new, and built by myself, I've worked with pcs for many years. I have a ryzen 9800x3d and an rtx 4090. I can run games like cyberpunk 2077 with full path tracing and the highest settings possible, and my pc goes no higher than 70 degrees. This game is poorly optimised, and needs work to stop so much work being put on the CPU. I lowered my graphics settings, got outside of the tutorial area and the game immediately crashed with a fatal error. This did it for me. I only paid £12 for the game, but in its current state for me at least it is not playable. I have requested a refund.
£16 for free assets Game Chorked as hell 😭
At the time of this posting, the game is in a super early state. but it has so much potential that it is keeping me intrigued and entertained for days now. Even with the current bugs it remains very interesting and the space travel is very nice and more detailed than I anticipated.
Unfortunately, on my machine the game runs horribly. Averaging 15 FPS on lowest settings. In terms of gameplay, the intro is very long taking about 1.5 hours to get a ship. Most of the quests in the beginning are just fetch quests with zero gameplay (drive to A, get this, bring it back). I cannot say for quests after the intro chapter. The potential is there but without proper optimization and a more interesting intro/tutorial, I will give this game a negative review.
