A very good game with some insane music and interesting choices to make
Really scratches that Elder Scrolls itch, while being better in pretty much every way. The world and the lore are interesting, and I find that I'm always wondering what I'll find next (both in terms of loot and story/location). I appreciate that they have an option in Settings where you can either enable diminishing returns on points investments or keep it old-school, where investing points in one stat can make you rediculously OP. It also appears that they have a mod-positive mentality, which is 100% the right choice for most single player games.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This was a nice surprise, made me realize that "lite" type games can be a goldmine and this one is no exception and it ended up being more its own thing than just "Skyrim-lite" Having some clear Elder scrolls inspirations, I thought it was better in some aspects, the story was very interesting and the setting as well. -First act of the game is by far the best, followed by the 2nd and a much weaker 3rd act. -Performance was not great, it's a shame that such an interesting visual direction is affected by poor engine optimization (my understanding is that Unity is not the best for open worlds and it shows here) -Build variety is encouraged which I really liked, hybrids can be hella fun! -Some quests and questlines can have twists and unexpected turns which I enjoyed -Game could communicate some things about quests better. -Since the maps are big but not huge, some variety in the icons to find stuff or the ability of placing several custom pin markers would be nice. -Quest information can be limited in some instances and a dialogue log or something similar to avoid frustration is missed. It's easy to come up with busted builds on your own so I suggest playing at a normal rate not rushing or looking for OP stuff. I ended up with weird critical damage + spells + bow build and it was VERY fun and very broken by the end of the game lol I really want to see where these devs go next, there's a lot of talent here! 7.5/10
It is a solid 7/10 RPG. A lot of it will remind you of Skyrim, including the outdated graphics (at least that makes it run on my old gamin laptop too^^), some funny bugs and the NPC behavior. If you compare it with Skyrim, Tainted Grail is definitely more grim and falls short in basically every aspect, like size, explorability, questlines, presentation etc. Yet, it still is fun and won't consume another 100+ hours of your life. Most quests are entertaining, combat doesn't feel too bad, there is a good amount and variety of items, spells, weapons and exploring will still lead you to some interesting things here and there. You can craft and perform alchemy. A good amount of different talents to skill. Abilities level by using them. Different playstyles are supported and there is a way to reskill that doesn't feel like just pressing a button in a menu. You can even buy houses, decorate them and get a magical mount-creature that helps you in fights. All in all I felt the main story a bit more prominent and maybe even more interesting here. Enterteining and a good pick for everyone who likes the Skyrim-formular, some dark fantasy and doesn't mind some clunkyness. I didn't finish it, might get back to it at some point, might not. But I don't regret buying and playing it.
just a really good game, one of a few. very enjoyable.
It's not the new Skyrim, but its a lot better than Avowed which should be compared to
