Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.22/day in the week to Aug 4 → 2.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

古き良き日本製シミュレーションゲームという感じで面白いです。敵のAIがあまり賢くないこと前提でバランスがとってあるのでかなり敵が強い感じがします。
I have never played any of the prior iterations of this game, so that’s where I am coming from. I collect and adore old PSX RPGs, so I've often come across mentions of this, but a physical copy has always eluded me. I know those who have played other versions have some gripes with this release, but I think TOR plays beautifully on the PC and has several QoL features that make this very important game accessible for gamers of all backgrounds. I really enjoyed my time with it, but it’s not without issues. It’s a game made with love and care, so I’ll do my best to give it a worthy review. Story: The story of TOR is sprawling and complex, told over several hours with dozens of characters involved. It’s a classic story of rebellion on a grand scale with moral ambiguity sprinkled in, and you can tell the developers were seeking a more mature theme with this game. The characters are interesting for the most part, but there are so many to meet and recruit that your favorites may not always get the lore attention you want. The voice acting here is solid and is supported by writing that is very polished and thoughtful. There is a lengthy in-game codex called The Warren Report that provides additional insight into the characters and game world in case you need to reference something or look someone up. You should always check this, as it also unlocks new areas on the map for exploration. The story does involve making decisions at key moments that will impact your ending. As a result, there are a few different paths you can take, and the game offers significant replayability as a result. When you are done, TOR offers a system that allows you to revisit certain pivotal moments in the game and continue playing to see these branching paths. This essentially makes nothing missable and makes experiencing all the game has to offer much easier. Overall, the story is good, but it may be overly complex and crowded with too many characters at times for some. Gameplay: This is a classic OG tactics game that has been around for 30 years now, and there is a reason this is always in the SRPG discussion. It’s fun and full of depth. You can amass a huge army, and each character can possess several unique traits, including gear, skills, spells, items, and elemental affinities. Now, if this sounds like a lot, that’s because it is. The menu fatigue in this game is very real. At certain points, new items in the shops would unlock, leading to a feeling of equal parts dread and excitement. Stepping through menus for each unit can get old, and I eventually settled on a core group of about a dozen units that I used for most fights and ignored the rest of my army. One of the main complaints I see in negative reviews is related to the level cap. Yes, there is a cap that is raised at certain points in the game. This hardly bothered me at all, and I enjoyed the challenge that it occasionally brought, as sometimes bosses will be a few levels above you. Ultimately, this was a smart design choice in my opinion, as it keeps the focus on what this game is about – tactical gameplay. I get why some folks might be upset about it, but this isn’t really the sort of game that you grind out and obliterate your opponent. It kept things balanced, and I liked not worrying about my level for once. You are almost always going to be capped anyway, and you can enjoy all the other rewarding aspects of the game. To help with the downtime between major battles and to assist with some of the filler-type battles, TOR includes an AI feature and a battle speed toggle. You set your characters to fulfill one of four roles and sit back and watch them go, or you go do something else. This is great for saving time and making this game more accessible to folks nowadays. It’s also useful for replaying areas after a crash…which I unfortunately did have. These were at the worst possible times, so save often. There is a significant amount of endgame content here. This content, along with the branching paths I mentioned above, delivers a game that is packed with hours of gameplay. I paid $20 on sale, and my first playthrough is likely to last around 80 hours. This doesn’t include the massive 100-floor dungeon and epilogue scenarios that are also included in the game. Bottom line, if you are looking to sink your teeth into something for hundreds of hours, this will satisfy your craving, no problem. Final Thoughts: I saw somewhere that TOR walked so FFT could run, and I think that’s accurate. TOR is a fantastic game in its own way, and every fan of SRPGs should check it out. It combines robust game design with modern comforts and a sprinkling of nostalgia. This version plays remarkably well, considering it's 30 years old. The community is also very passionate about this game, and the forum here on Steam is filled with friendly folks who are happy to respond to questions. Shout out to Pickleton and Richard for all the helpful posts.
Very good game, the story is captivating, the characters quite well-developed, the only downside would be that you can't go back to old maps to try to catch beasts and stuff. Everything else is A1
Dope game with deep gameplay and lore.
这公司的游戏很少在145小时游戏时间后弃游的,这是一款
为PSP时代补的票。 系统完整,非常耐玩。 但现在回头看刷子时间是有点多了 真希望最终幻想战略版也能有续作或者重制啊
