This game is great both on the gameplay side and the story side. The gameplay is reminiscent of Into The Breach, with the ability to see your opponents' next moves before you lock in yours, making it into largely a puzzle game. But one with many possible solutions, influenced greatly by which ability perks you choose. These perks all feel reasonably balanced and make significant impacts on combat, so you can mold your characters to work with whatever strategy you like best (and you can refund perks, but to a limited extent). Some perk choices in some situations may end up allowing your abilities to combo in ways that feel like exploits, but the missions are varied enough that this won't always happen. And it's fun to get to stomp your enemies from time to time, between more challenging missions. There are difficulty options and optional objectives as well, so you should be able to tune the overall difficulty to your liking. On the story side, the writing is excellent, the humor is clever and fun without detracting from the story, the characters and their interactions are colorful. I sometimes replayed scenes to explore all of the dialogue options. There were one or two points where I got confused, when it dumped me into a new region where I didn't know what was going on, but it cleared things up before long. All in all, lots of fun, highly recommend.
love the game Each characvter have unique skill and complement with each other. Level deisgn are great, you never felt overpower at the same time never felt underpower. the story both fun and interesting, loves of the characters especially Banks and Jen
Enjoyable tactics.
my favourite game ever
Came for the tactics, stuck around for the well written characters and silly jokes
This is a puzzle game above anything else, and it's a good puzzle game. The urban fantasy-style story gets a number of good laughs out of me and even manages to surprise me a couple times. The game's only weakness is that it does drag on a bit towards the end: I'm halfway through the final act out of four and it's getting a little tedious, especially the dream sequences. My recommendation is to play the game in shorter bursts, and you'll enjoy yourself a lot. You'll get at least 15 hours of gameplay out of TBW, so make it count!
Stark, Daumen Hoch. Hat auf jeden Fall Charme das Game.
