Synthwave Dream '85

This game has many elements that I like to see in "Retrowave" games. Over-saturated colors as well as the appearance of being played on an old television set, the colors and design remind me of the seemingly elaborate yet all too generic designs of arcades from the 80s-90s but in the best way possible. Despite the few bugs I have seen as well as my own hesitation to buy an early access game, I have really come to enjoy this game more than I assumed I would. Now I want to talk about the soundtrack. It sounds like music you would hear in a retro sci-fi movie like Terminator. I hear this music and my mind is taken back to the arcade my local theater used to have. Neon orange lights from the new Jurassic Park games that the theater had purchased, cigarette smoke and sticky carpet that looked like outer space with the way the glow in the dark paint is hit by the black light. Walking into the theater itself as the sounds of the movie and the movies in the other theaters reverberate off the walls, and that one beam of light from the projector shines throughout the room and is made slightly opaque by the cigarettes that are also being smoked in the theater as well. It's just an incredible soundtrack that hits all the nostalgia points for me. I could go on and on about this game but ultimately while it hits all of the right points for me, it may not for all who read this review. However, if you felt a connection with the way I described my experience with the game, you might consider giving it a try for yourself.

Vaporwave + Drift - popopopopp

Не спешите выбрасывать игру, тут можно сделать нормальную графику, насколько слово "нормальную" тут применимо. По игре напоминает outdrive, но тут попроще, нет "нитры", или я про неё не знаю.

Buggy, but good music. Needs fixing and improving however before I can give it a positive review. - Fell through the world. - Controls are bad and can not be changed (right shift does not work). - Customization options are very limited and do not improve the car handling. - Get stuck on terrain, unable to continue race. - Tutorial is very lacking.

fun little time waster

Honestly, it's a lot better than I expected. For only around three dollars you're getting a game I'd pay $10 for. The soundtrack is awesome, the maps are great, the drifting is sooo fun and the speeds are executed well. LoneDev really hit the retro-cyberpunk feel in this one. I can see myself playing for hours. Definitely recommend, I give it an 9.5/10 for the price.
