About

Test your mettle (but also your metal) as you discover and unleash the power behind a multitude of magical swords to defeat an otherworldly Celestial evil! Your quest will challenge your reactions, lead you through treacherous biomes, and pit you against the most formidable enemies and bosses.

A giant blade has plunged into the world of Armorial, bringing a hail of smaller blades along with it. The calamitous sword seems to be draining the power of the planet itself, and with each passing day, the rain of swords grows heavier and heavier. To undo this vile corruption, you’ll play as Colt, an unwitting hero who has gained the ability to wield the fallen blades. It's time to make a stand against the Celestial evil that seeks to destroy the kingdom!

As you venture forth, each new sword you find will come with a unique ability, aka its Swordcery. These abilities allow you to perform magical feats like: hurling your sword out in boomerang-like fashion, thundering down as a bolt of lightning, opening up hellfire fissures, or summoning a ring of protective icy swordflakes!

Every blade you find is categorized into a Sword Class, which has its own set of offensive maneuvers. From specific combos to unique abilities, each Sword Class may be more advantageous due to the terrain or combat situation. It is up to you to master and acknowledge which Sword Class's attributes and attacks will work in unison along with your mighty Swordcery abilities. Enemy encounters will test your ability to recognize patterns, reactions to telegraphed attacks, your ability to utilize both melee and various magical attacks, as well as your resource management skills while in the heat of battle.

Each new run, you can expect to discover new swords, find various relics to add to your playstyle, choose new sword class upgrades, and trek through procedurally generated dungeons.

Great little game with cool swords and what seems like decent skill tree. Just an hour into it but so far very good game.
I'm giving this a positive review because I do think this game will eventually be great. In it's current feedback state, there's a lot to address. The economy is painful. The meta progression is underwhelming and comes at a snails-pace due to the economy. The only meaningful upgrades in the skill-tree are all survival based and the overall balancing needs a lot of work. That being said, the bones are all there and there's already a lot of meat on those bones. The weapon selection is where the game shines and when it shines, it sparkles. So many fun and funny ideas that are just brought down by the unavoidable kinks that need to be ironed out. I can't enjoy the swords when I can't figure out how to make them deal damage, on bosses at least. I cannot begin to tell you how long I had to chop away at the second boss before dying with a 10th of it's health left. And I wasn't even bummed out because I knew how much longer the fight was going to be to take the rest of that health out. I upgraded a single weapon as far as I possibly could given the available gold, and it barely made a dent. Which also brings up the point that having a huge arsenal isn't worth much when you have to focus all of your resources into a single item. And even then having that item lead to an almost 10 minute boss fight with a lot more to go. I know I was just really negative, but don't get me wrong. I like this game. I want this game to be great. And it's the feedback stage, so I'm simply giving feedback. It needs work. And with some thoughtful adjusting, this game will absolutely earn the positive review I am giving it's potential. Good luck, devs.

Ach ja andere Sprachen wären ganz nett: My English is not the yellow from the Egg Gerne Korrelieren wenn ich falsch oder ihr es anders seht.
