About
A disgraced druid apprentice goes on a quest to prevent the world from going crazy by restoring balance to the forces of love, wisdom, and wealth.
A mystical comedy adventure with sarcastic British wit, hand-drawn cartoon art, and an innovative shape-shifting ability for solving puzzles.
Plot of the Druid is a classic-modern point-and-click game that’s reminiscent of Simon the Sorcerer, Discworld, and Harry Potter.

• The player can decide whether to deal with a situation as a human or as a ferocious animal. Well, maybe not that ferocious, but one with a unique skill set.
• Harness the powers of nature in order to solve puzzles. After all, sometimes an earthquake is just what’s needed to get people’s attention.
• Beautiful hand-painted HD artwork in the style of old-school pixel art.
• Dozens of wacky characters, ALL fully voiced.
• Cool references to classic LucasArts and Sierra games.
• Two difficulty levels: Young Apprentice and Master of Disaster. Finish the game to earn a digital certificate with your name on it, signed by the Elder Druids themselves!
• Many MANY smooth 2D animations, including thrilling cutscenes.
• Over an hour of immersive, charming music.
• A hotspot reveal option to avoid pixel hunting.
• Lots of achievements to be gained by exploring the world.
• A journal to help keep you on track.
• Available in English with German, French, Spanish, Russian, Czech, Japanese, Polish and Hebrew translations.
• And the wind cried Mary!

Full price for 1 chapter and no new chapters for a long time...wait for the full release!
This is the most fun I had in a while, the game is briliant except for the sound design and the graphics that could be a little better. What bothered me greatly is it only has one chapter available for playing and even on the hardest difficulty, took me 2 hours to finish. So I am looking forward to play the full release and I am dissapointed that I got so little out of it as it is now. So I don't recommend it until it gets fully released.
It was cute for about a half-hour, then horrible interface bugs deleted key inventory items and put my game in an unwinnable state, with no recent auto-save.
Definitely gives off strong old-school adventure game vibes - think Simon the Sorcerer or Legend of Kyrandia. Both the atmosphere and the humor hit that classic ‘90s sweet spot. The voice acting? Absolutely superb. And the game is packed with clever nods and references to the golden age of adventure gaming. It’s clear this was made by someone who grew up loving the genre. Now, is it fully polished? No. It doesn’t have that slick, big-budget studio sheen. But considering this is an indie title made by a single developer, it honestly exceeds all expectations. The amount of charm and heart poured into it more than makes up for the rough edges. Yes, there are minor quirks—like the lack of VSync (so you’ll notice some screen scrolling when moving between areas), and a strange stripe at the bottom of the intro screen while the game loads. But honestly? I’d rather see the developer focus on releasing the next chapters than spend time chasing down these small bugs. Right now, you’ll get about 2.5 hours of playtime with the intro and Chapter 1. And I can’t wait for the rest to drop. If you love classic adventure games, this one is definitely a gem in the making.
Some game studio should really pay the man to finish the game. As for what is already in game: The prologue and chapter one are really good, the puzzles are logical, there is no dialogue overload like in some newer adventure games. All the usual quality of life features are there: manual saving, hotspot highlighter, journal with objectives, but my favorite is dissapearing hotspots after You exhaust all availabe actions. There's two difficulty levels, but Master of Disaster is easy enough that I never got stuck so the lower difficulty level seems like not worth bothering with. There are some minor bugs still present, like the >> icon that appears during cutscenes sometimes sticking around for normal gameplay. In the prologue the icons for changing shape dissapered once, but appeared again after saving and reloading so nothing game breaking.
Definitely not worth buying right now. Still only contains one chapter, which is about 2-3 hours long. Wait for the proper release before buying!
Just completed the first 2 chapters and looking forward to future updates! If words like "Sierra", "Lucas Arts", and "Wadjet" get you excited then pick this game up and support a devoted, passionate team, that is keeping the point and click genre alive! Hand drawn visuals, great voice acting, quality puzzles and fresh ideas - what more can one want! More about the game later but this team deserves its own mention: Reading about all the challenges and real world impact from the wars and unrest this whole team is enduring through AND they are still working on AND updating the game. Its clear he and his team have passion and love for this project. Yakir has been totally transparent in the updates on the kick starter page and, speaking for myself, I can't even comprehend the daily struggles he and his team are living through. Yakir, I pray for strength, peace and comfort for you, the whole team, and all your families! Being a child of the Sierra golden years; point and click games have always been my comfort gaming. King's Quest is a favourite of mine and this game brings all the charm and humour of that series while bringing new things to the mix. It's studios like this, wadjet eye games, and countless others that are keeping this genre fresh and going! It is early access, so think of it as a episodic release, but from what I have read about this team i'm happy to be supporting them and this project. I played through the first 2 Chapters with a mouse and had no control issues. I encountered 1 "bug" when after an event all the hotspots vanished, but a simple exit the room and re-enter fixed it. This is point & click at its finest and left me wanting more, looking forward to celebrating future updates with this team!
a loving tribute to classic point and click adventures with maybe too many references... i did appreciate him whistling songs from simon the sorcerer and monkey island though! there's only one chapter so far and i wouldn't say the existing content is totally polished, audio seems to get loud and quiet in random places and the inventory item combinations could use some more dialogue outputs--a lot of the time you're doing the correct thing but it's locked behind further gameplay and you're left feeling kinda confused why it's not working. as there's only one chapter and the game hasn't been updated for over a year i can't really recommend paying full price for this one but you do you.
