I love the reviving mechanic this game has; It's really interesting and it feels smooth (even tho the AI is kind of "stupid" sometimes). The art and the story were both good and appealing. I really love the leveling system as well as all the different weapons you can use. The enemies come in all sorts of forms and colors, and each of them have their very own skills and attributes. The soundtrack was amazing, made the game feel a lot more epic and glorious. Very interesting game, definitely worth it
I'm liking what I see so far as a fan of the first game!
This game feels really good, and I truly love its charismatic characters. The combat mechanics are also quite satisfying. Highly recommended!
Good game, good story. Long live lesbians.
I've had this game in my wishlist for a while and I finally gave it a try. I'm glad I did, but it was a huge mixed bag for me. Positives: Visuals are clean and there's plenty of enemy variety. Sound design and attack feedback feel great. Even weak attacks feel nice and punchy. The music is catchy. Story and characters. Tama and Koko are utterly precious and the voice acting is brilliant. Negatives: Pretty much everything else about the combat and more. Inaccurate without combat assist, way too magnetic at a distance with it. Enemies are janky. Explosive attacks and shockwaves have misleading animations that either don't accurately indicate hitboxes, or end before the hitbox goes away. Poison staggering you. Which didn't help when I couldn't get enough antidotes to do the poison floor. Not clearly explaining what certain status ailments do. Jumping plunge attacks are inaccurate. Stamina just being a nuisance rather than adding depth. Editing tactics just to make a monster stay on a switch is a pain. Bosses have similar health to normal enemies. Bouncing on enemies just caused me to mess up aerial attack inputs. Furygon having a large hitbox you can't pass through when you have it as a summon, which caused me to get trapped at one point. Overall has some good ideas but the combat is a mess overall. Enemies don't feel good to fight against, they're all just annoying because of all these issues. I'm glad they're making another game, and I'll still recommend giving this a look when it's on sale because a lot of heart went into it even with the negatives I have. The cutscenes really felt like a reward because Koko and Tama are so precious. But the combat needs ironing out for the next game. I hope they've nailed the fundamentals better than they did here before implementing things like character switching and multiple movesets, because the gameplay of this game was way more frustrating than it was fun.
剧情中规中矩 gameplay极其坐牢
One of the best and most fun ARPG (with a combat flow similar to the latest 3D Mana entries) I've had the pleasure to play in recent times, which implements very satisfying systems to use, especially the recruitment, training and use in synergy of the monsters that inhabit each level. In addition to a sense of updated dungeon crawling, but without losing the essence of the standards of the genre (looting, slashing, rewards for objectives ...). Add to that a beautiful and interesting LGBTIQ+ story, a professional dub, an OST reminiscent of Falcom's best works (I promise I'm not exaggerating, just listen to the opening theme) and a delightful art. I really can't hit the like button enough hard to reflect how impressed I am. Btw on Steam Deck it works great, but it's true that to play with maximum requirements you need to lock the framerate at 30fps.
A lovely story, with cute art and good voice acting. The voices in particular are just fun to listen to. Gameplay is decent, but it's a small budget indie game so don't expect amazingness. It's fun to collect creatures and tell them how to perform, though i also just enjoyed going solo. The story is what kept me going forward, and i enjoyed it until the very end. Thank you for making this game!
