dude i started playing this game and there was no "quit" option can somebody send help I've been stuck playing this mid game for like a month now...
At the time of writing this, 05/06/2026 I can confirm that the game currently isn't working and will crash on a attempt at loading in (Or entering the city on a new playthrough) you can check the discussions tab for confirmation from other players, the other recent positive reviews are most likely not real. If you're like me, replaying the old SAO games for Echoes Of Aincrad, unfortunately we will have to skip this one.
Its funny that the oldest release in the series is somehow better than all the rest ahead of it.. If this gets a remake/remaster it'll break the net.. Modern engine, refine combat, better PC controls, extended world exploration, new content, reworked bosses, life skills, owning a property, owning a shop/business. Marriage.. Bandai has this right at their money grubbing finger tips but they continue to milk SAO with these new garbage titles chasing after nostalgia from the OGs of the anime and manga.. This is a sad time to be alive. Now we have this garbage echoes of souls releasing which is basically elden ring skinned over SAO.. Such an insult to fans.
Great game could be way more than what is is today but still great for what its based on anime based games doesnt always get the right treatment.
過了快十年,又載回來玩,感覺屌打近一兩年的很多遊戲==
Almost a decade later and still one of my most played games... at least on my Playstation. i just got it for here to say "fk it we balling" before Echoes Of Aincrad comes out
Would anyone laugh at me if I say this game is the actual culmination of all Sword Art Online games? Pros: - Great story - Premiere - Best combat (probably most fluid, 2nd to Fatal Bullet) - Diverse equipment building and simple yet innovative skill tree Cons: - Why only 4 skills? Why not all of them? - We still play as Kirito in the cutscenes. - Some maps are borderline copy-paste of the previous map (we do have a mini-map which is okay by me) - Sometimes, the controller won't work well on Steam so you have to setup Steam Input for consistency Other than that, this is probably the best SAO game I picked up (can't wait for Fatal Bullet) yet after playing the mess that is Last Recollection. Rating: 9/10
