«Swimsanity!»
Лучше проходите игру в кооперативе. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbqgtuoXZxA A vibrant sidescroller shooter set underwater where you fight through aquatic enemies. Playing as the heroes to save the underwater world by progressing through levels and facing bosses like giant turtles, crabs and sharks. Collecting weapons and power ups is quite neat as it does keep the game more fresh. It does get quite hectic with more people playing at the same time as there are lots of bullets flying around and foes that arise. Plenty of content as well with the various ways of playing from single player, co op and online to the different games modes like the adventure, survival and versus mode. Visuals looks good too with the cartoony and colourful enviroments of the stages and abundant kinds of enemies. As is the control which is also simple to play with, mainly being firing your weapons, moving around dodging obstacles and defeating creatures and dashing around. Overall, it is a decent shooter sidescroller with lots to do, being fun by yourself and perhaps better with others as it gets more action packed.
Sheesh... Just one level and i disklike it already. Which pains me, as this is obviously the first project of a young game dev team. But that's why a lot of beginner mistakes ruin what could be an easy-going experience. For a game that presents itself as a fast-paced, fun action shooter it's puzzling why the characters move so sluggish. While the under-water scenario explains it on an idea-level, it simply doesn't work, as it makes reacting to all the action quite hard. No wonder they had to add a teleport mechanic. Also you're drowned (pun intended) in powerup symbols during the levels, you can't really avoid them. As such swap them so frequently, you don't really build experience with them. Furthermore it's not easy to tell what some of the powerups are actually doing, their visual and haptic effects appear rather timid in comparison to all the action and especially the ultimate, which is the only thing with the necessary omph. This feels like a wasted chance to introduce another layer of gameplay. Also the music doesn't really fit the theme. The graphics seem fine most of the time, i like the characters, which have a lot of personality. But everything happens so fast, it's hard to keep track and cherish them. Finally, our session was cut short as it got stuck in an infinite loop at the end of the first (!) level and had to be quit back to the menu, erasing any progress. We had no motivation left to restart the game. As far as i can see it's a mediocre, underwhelming first title of a new dev team lacking polish.
3/10 kinda basic, after playing one level im already done with the game got stuck in an endless loading loop when trying to manage party, what ever that does https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2927560288 pay to win DLC such as endless supply of ammo no way to turn off controller vibrate
For a game I have been following for a few years I am very happy with how this game turned out. A fun, simple, underwater shooter that actually has easy to control movement. Seriously, that's the big thing here. Anyone who has gamed for any amount of time can agree that underwater controls are trash in games. Yet, this game focuses on underwater combat and actually works and feels good to play. Beyond that, if you like twin stick shooters you'll like this.
Swimsanity! is a console ported 2D retro arena brawler/Super Smash Bros ripoff that features versus modes as well as a co-op and single player campaign, which does position this as having at least some professional qualities (but not much). This isn't nearly as good as games like Super Smash Bros, the underwater theme adds little to an already obsolete genre of games. The game is badly polished and sluggish, the console port is one of the worst I've seen. But, aspiring to be console devs, the developers did infest the game with ridiculous P2W DLC... that's absolutely disgusting and has no place on the PC platform. We're not console peasants, and we're not here to put up with console peasant crap like that. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The game features simple, cartoony 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort mobile apps. 3D graphics programming does require a degree of skill and competence and unfortunately not all developers have the budget or talent to deliver this, despite 3D graphics cards hitting the mainstream in the 1990's. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. PC gamers will be insulted by the presence of console peasant children's toy controller prompts, despite this being on PC. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're developing for. Because this is a console game, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the inferior console gaming appliances that the game was designed for. These are unfortunate compromises and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was a second thought for the console-centric developers. The game is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for consoles forces upon a game. Once more, console peasants have made gaming worse for everyone. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. Swimsanity! didn't appeal much to the people who own a copy of the game, either. It has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game didn't really capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is Adventure - Deep Blue Sea, but only around 26 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. Hardly a success story, gamers just weren't all that interested in the game. The poor quality of this game is also reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 8 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Swimsanity! has the insulting, scam like, eye watering price of $15 USD (plus $22 of P2W DLC), putting this at a full AAA price of a whopping $37 USD. For the same money, you could buy Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA:V AND Subnautica and still have money left over. This is a ridiculous insult, and surely contributed to the complete rejection of this game by the general gaming public. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.
Profile Features Limited!
Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.

it was a good game. I really liked it. Indies will always be better than big triple ass companies.
Really basic gameplay with really too hard difficulty (enemy and boss can one hit you with contact), only 3 life in solo for adventure mode, so except the first level are other levels are also impossible in solo ... and there only 5 main levels in the game, so around 1-1.5 hours of gameplay ...
