About
Sweetoria Land is a vibrant 3D low-poly platformer designed for kids aged 8–15 and families, delivering a fun, creative, and meaningful adventure. Play as Milo Marshie and Lila Sweetie—two orphaned siblings—on their journey through the enchanting kingdom of Sweetoria Land. Collect sparkling Stars hidden across the colorful world to unlock Magical Portals and progress on your quest. With its charming cartoon visuals, playful sound effects, and uplifting themes about overcoming sadness, Sweetoria Land is perfect for fans of joyful platformers and heartfelt explorations.
Inspired by Germany’s Black Forest, Sweetoria Land features five delightful regions: Lollipop Forest, Waffle Village, Syrup Stream, Candy Meadow, and Candy Castle. The land is shrouded in the mysterious “Candy Famine” curse, casting shadows and sadness across every corner (Siegmund). Stuck in the whimsical Candy House by the Candy Witch—a symbol of safe but restrictive dreams (Beit)—Milo and Lila are guided by the cheerful Sweetbloom Buddy. Their mission is to find five legendary Star Cookies, unlock magical portals, escape the candy maze, brighten the Candy Witch’s heart, and sail back to Waffle Village on the Candy Boat.
Drawing inspiration from Grimm fairy tales and meaningful psychological themes (Bettelheim, Meyer), Sweetoria Land’s journey is a celebration of growing through fear, daring to try, developing patience, nurturing self-belief, and discovering love. As new kingdom regions open soon, Milo and Lila bravely collect Star Cookies to bring color and hope back to their playful world.
Use Milo’s jumping abilities—single, double, and wall jumps—to navigate lively platforms like collapsing bridges and sinking islands.
Collect Candy Drops as markers for hidden paths, discover Star Cookies to open portals, and find fun secrets throughout every zone.
Each region in Sweetoria Land offers four imaginative areas (8–9 minutes each), escalating in playful challenge:
Lollipop Forest: A dense candy maze, challenging fear.
Waffle Village: Ancient bridges collapse as you learn to dare.
Syrup Stream: Brave sinking islands and build patience.
Candy Meadow: Winds foster self-belief as you leap and explore.
Candy Castle: An enchanting maze reveals lessons of self-love.
Joyful Jumping: Precision platforming fun for every skill level.
Charming Art & Sound: Low-poly candy visuals and festive effects — “pop,” “ting,” and “boom”—fill the world with delight.
Heartfelt Story: Overcome sadness and restore joy—it’s a journey of hope and love.
Lots to Discover: Coming soon—side quests, collectible skins, and co-op gameplay will encourage repeat playthroughs and shared adventures with friends or family.
Family Friendly: Local co-op mode for easy drop-in fun is also coming soon—everyone will be able to play together.
Jump into Sweetoria Land for a colorful adventure where every leap spark joy and every discovery bring light back to the kingdom. Now available on Steam—come collect your Stars and brighten the world!

Reviews
I'm not really sure if Sweetoria Land is an asset flip. Some elements of this game certainly make it seem like the developer put some effort into assembling some kind of original here. On the other hand, a lot of the game assets don't seem like they were created by the developer, but they haven't credited any asset creators for supplying assets, which might be a case of plagiarism. There's no evidence, so we need to give the benefit of the doubt... regardless, asset flip or not, the quality here is indistinguishable from many asset flip/cash grab scams, and that's a problem in itself. What you get if you shell out way too much money for this game is a very weakly done 3D third person console-esque platformer... incredibly simple, you control a marshmallow, collect stars and hearts, jump around on platformers etc. It's been done a million times, almost all of those better than this. Case in point, the developer couldn't even get the basic Steam pointer right... when you try to launch the game, he put the wrong install path in so it won't launch. But don't worry, if you still want to have a bad time, you can find the exe in the game install folder and launch it there. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. This looks a lot like it was designed for consoles, but released on Steam instead by mistake. While this is on PC, it has all the hallmarks and deficiencies of a console game, from the clunkier than needed control scheme to the less than cutting edge graphics. There's 10's of thousands of PC games on Steam, and PC gamers deserve only the best. This might not appeal to many gamers due to the lack of PC-centric design. It's unclear why this never made it to the video game console appliances it seems to have been designed for. This game has NO MENUs... the developer didn't even bother allowing you to close the game, you need to alt+tab out and kill the process. It's hard to see that as anything other than incompetence, and that the rest of the game is equally badly made and of the same low quality standard tells us a lot. The game assets are fairly mediocre/low quality, in some places they appear mismatched... Ultimately the quality of these assets, and thus the overall visual quality is lower than average, and low quality always makes for a less than optimal gaming experience. Remember, we're looking for the best of the best of 140,000+ games on Steam. PC gamers will be insulted by the presence of console peasant children's toy controller prompts, despite this being on PC. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're developing for. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the game all-time peak player count was only ONE player. That's right, only one person ever played this at a time. When I played this for the purposes of reviewing it, I equalled the peak player count for the game. OUCH. The only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 130 million gamers on Steam and well over 140,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 140,000+ games on Steam? Sweetoria Land has the preposterous price of around $7 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. For comparison, the $7 asking price for this game could get you games like "Kingdom Come Deliverance", "Yakuza Kiwami" or "Project Zomboid". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this.At the end of the day, my reviews are intended to try help gamers find quality and avoid the dregs (with over 140,000 games on Steam... not all of them are masterpieces). If you think my review is wrong, definitely buy this, download it and play it... it's surely exactly the kind of game you'll love (but I doubt it will work out that way). Game reviews are for gamers to share their thoughts about games and help gamers choose where to spend valuable time or money. If my review helps you to grab or reject this game, then my job is done.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
A very cute game in the style of Mario and Kirby combined. The graphics look nice and colourful. I think the game is also fun for adults, as I am. The game runs very smooth on my Legion Go2. The second map can be a little less smooth since that map is huge so it's loading a lot at once, that could maybe be a problem on lower end devices. The game is using a lot of Mario64 sounds which is funny. The gameplay is easy and fun, everything works well. I beat the game in exactly 1 hour as an adult, but for a younger child I can see it would take quite a bit longer most likely. Well recommended 👍🏻
