Cat & Capy's a short but fun 3D platformer starring Maxwell and a Capybara. The game only takes about an hour or so to complete currently, there's a bunch of cosmetics to unlock and a few secrets to find. My own cat Bean's been added as a hidden unlockable as well which was really exciting to find for me. The only issue I really had with the game is with the camera on controller being too sensitive or getting stuck in certain spots. A few things could be changed though, like being able to re-watch cut scenes and adding borderless fullscreen. If you're familiar with Matato's Instagram or TikTok videos with these two, I'd say give this game a go, and if not, give it a go anyway. Updating this on 8/14/25: This game has found a new meaning for me as a way to remember my cat 3 year old tortoise shell cat Bean. Bean had to be humanely euthanized on 8/13/25 due to a cancerous tumor forming behind her eye and eating into her nostrils.. Having Bean in a game like this gives me a chance to immortalize her in a place a lot of people can enjoy.. Thank you Matato for adding her to the game. Bean will live on here for all to enjoy..
I found this game because a friend of mine sent me one of Matato Games' Instagram Reels, in which you have to move your finger to the beat. When I realised, this was an ACTUAL game, I just had to try it. And I love it! I'm really bad at platformers, so, while others might not find it challenging, I really liked it for casual playing. Oh, and of course: I love Capybaras, and I love cats! I'm excited how much content might be added in the future.
good short fun. sily 3d payformer
Cat & Capy is a fun little platformer that I've been following for quite some time now and I'm excited it finally came to Steam on Early Access. It's not a long game, but it is a lot of fun. I haven't tried split screen coop yet, but it sounds like it has the potential to be chaotic and it might add a new degree of difficulty to the game. It's definitely worth giving a try.
its great have a new found hatred for birds :)
I encountered an issue where the rockets (fireworks) weren’t delivered correctly at the start of the game. After investigating, I found that this type of error happens when the player does something in an unexpected order. In my case, I started the game from a different point than usual, which seems to have interrupted the sequence of events intended by the developers. This prevented certain objects and missions from being delivered properly. The solution was simply to delete my save file and start over from scratch. If anyone else runs into this issue, I suggest restarting the game or loading a previous save to allow the events to trigger correctly.

Beautiful cute game!
I saw this game on instagram and didn't know if it was real or not. I decided to buy it anyway. Game is interesting - the turning controls are rough but there is some interesting game modes like a Mario world like mode which is really cool. I am not sure what the objective is becuase the game appears that I have to free the dogs from cages. The game isn't difficult, but you will most likely die from not landing on a platform. Turning can be difficult, but apart from these things, it's enjoyable and has charm.
This game doesn't have any right to be this fun! Despite being a simple and silly platformer it is genuinely pretty fun. It has a little challenge sometimes, and it's due to good game design and not inconsistent platforming controls or poor level design. You really can see that there was genuine effort and skill put into this game. It's not anything fancy, it's a simple indie platformer, but it's genuine fun and is worth the super low price.
