About
Sweet Transit is a unique city builder where the railway is king and trains are the best means of expansion and transportation. Create intricate production lines and grow humble villages into thriving metropolises while moving through prime eras such as the introduction of steam power and the invention of the combustion engine. Become a pioneer of industry and work to keep your citizens happy through the interconnected world of the railway.
From a single warehouse, build a thriving interconnected world of villages and cities as you expand your rail network and evolve your society.
Connect your settlements to ensure a painless transit for workers and civilians using platforms, stations and intricate routes complete with signals to expand and link together your network.
Plan your settlements to fit both the landscape and needs of your citizens. Create basic and advanced production lines to ensure the most economical movement of resources. Take advantage of the mighty railway to automate production and meet ever-growing needs of your settlements.
Your citizens have needs and get tired as they work. It's important that you maintain their happiness and requirements by ensuring they have accommodation, water, food and more as you scale up your cities. Unhappy or tired workers are less productive and will be detrimental to your production lines.
Sweet Transit features full mod support from day one, allowing you to create custom content for the game as you please. Steam Workshop support is fully integrated with the title allowing for ease of access to the modding community.

Seriously great game.
Great little train logistic game
This game is very confusing, especially because I'm not doing the tutorials and instead opting for the BRUTEFORCE method, but it is still very rewarding once something starts working. The UI is pretty jarring, it's not very friendly and the icons are not clear; I'm still hovering over stuff and using the tooltips to find what I want, which is tedious. I'm not going to take points off for the hotbar that has options that change depending on what you have selected because I think I'm getting used to it, but I will mention it was very complex to start understanding (took ages to find anything). The experience also feels kinda buggy, but I think most bugs are only present during the start of a new save where it tries to walk you through the game, after getting through that, it's less buggy and more just small annoyances that you have to get used to before they become understandable choices. You will probably get stuck and there isn't much help online (unless you want to watch hour long youtube videos). The tutorials would probably help BUT I REFUSE! There are still things I think should work, but don't and I have to work around (probably me being el stupido). Definitely try! I'm still playing after the roughest first hour I've ever had in a game, so it must be worth your time. Edit: After a couple more hours playing, I understand the core mechanics a bit more and now I'm having way more fun running new lines, setting up new factories and optimizing transit/production. My save is still very ugly but it's fun thats all that matters.
Ok. Wer weiß, was da noch kommt. Vom Feeling her könnte ich besser Railroad Tycoon spielen.
6/10
UI is wonky, sometimes you click and it isn't reactive. Setting routes isnt's as intuitive as you'd like. Spent more time city building then rails. The multiple warehousing storage is strange to work with, swapping out "global" inventories for building in towns, which are limited to size. The UI lacks here, a single row of items to select from, lots of scrolling,... Over all its ok, but some areas just doesn't quite cover UX all that great.
