Surviving Mars: Pioneer

I am a simple man and I don't know why I like these crafting/survival games so much (Planet Crafter amongst others) but I do. Having one that runs in VR? Just awesome. Seriously, this is pretty much everything I want in this kind of game. It's not perfect, there are glitches (I have an inventory space taken up by an invisiible who knows what) and sometimes bits disappear, but it's still a young game and I can forgive the occasional glitch. I am so happy with this game, if my kids buy a VR headset I'm buying copies for them and will feel better about the ridiculously low price that I paid.

Bieda i błędy. Jakim prawem to wyszło z wczesnego dostępu to nie mam pojęcia. Wydaje ci się że czeka cię przygoda na rozległych terenach marsa? Niestety, nie tutaj. Mały teren sztucznie ograniczony na parcele, żadnej opcji swobodnego podróżowania. Błedy już podczas stawiania drugiego modułu, wystarczy usunąć element łączący i ponowne skleić bazę - będziesz zaskoczony :D. Ogólne obiecane dużo, ale to czcze obietnice graniczące z oszustwem.

Honestly great mechanics, the consept is great & its crazy to me we're getting a surviving mars VR game. And the survival mechanics are great! but i dont really see myself playing this in the future. 8/10

As always.. the screenshot and video on steam does do the game just.. It look very good , and i played for like 10hr streight with no vr sickness *also much thanks to bobvr strap dough.. But this game run smooth and does not make you dissy at all .. Very very good @sort of @Subnatuica only on mars VR game. There are lot to do.. lot to reseach ... Somewhat grindy on resources but if you focus all power on upgrade your gear fast you can harvest and haul a lot of it..np Many missions and tasks.. Good building base hm my brain go blank... well its very good base building on this game. Research ect are also good. Lots of stuff to unlock...

Half the objects in the game do nothing. Oxygen tanks are supposed to refill your air when you plug them into the back of your hand, but they just sit there and let you suffocate. This means there's very quickly nothing to do in the game, because without a functioning air supply, you can't wander around more than 100 yards or so from the hab. Developers haven't responded to this issue in the forums, so... I quit playing. I would refund, but I played longer than 2 hours before figuring out that most of the stuff in this game simply doesn't work. Add in that there's absolutely nothing tying this game to the previous game in the series except for the fact that it's supposedly on Mars... this left a bad taste in my mouth; will look twice at anything from Bolverk Games in the future.

Absolutely fantastic game! Its a simple yet challenging survival crafting game. I already enjoy survival crafting so this game was right up my ally. I was lucky enough to receive this game for free but that does not influence my review. I am not even that far into it but so far everything feels very polished and smooth. If you enjoy survival craft games you'll probably love Surviving Mars: Pioneer
