Gotta fuel that crippling milk addiction somehow... Is Defender, but a water level. With cats.
Horizontal two way shooter with a nautical theme. Responsive controls. Classic Defender style gameplay but slightly more methodic. Cute presentation, graphics and audio. Challenging at higher levels. The Cat’s Meow? More Like the Cat’s Mildly Irritated Meow. Aqua Kitty – Milk Mine Defender is basically Defender if you replaced the spaceships with submarines, the astronauts with cats, and the “saving humanity” plot with “milk shortage panic.” It’s a quirky premise, but unfortunately, the humor ends there — unless you find “press shoot until your finger cramps” a sophisticated joke. The graphics are bright and cutesy, like someone fed Hello Kitty too much coffee and shoved her into a 16-bit arcade cabinet. It looks nice, but after the first level, every stage feels like you’re rescuing the exact same underwater dairy farm over and over. Variety? These cats haven’t heard of it. The controls are serviceable, though my submarine felt like it was constantly trying to drift off in search of better milk. Enemies come in all shapes and sizes — all of them equally determined to make you question why you didn’t just play the original Defender and call it a day. Sound-wise, the soundtrack is energetic in that “I’m stuck in an elevator that’s trying to have a rave” sort of way. It’s catchy for about three minutes, then you start wondering if you can milk a cat just to make it stop. If you love cats, retro arcade shooters, and the idea of an underwater dairy crisis, you might find this charming for an hour or two. But if you’re looking for depth (pun unavoidable), you might want to swim elsewhere. Final verdict: It’s cute, it’s mildly fun, but after a while, you’ll wish you left these kitties to mine their own milk in peace.
Cats. Says all.
It's a classic Defender type game with pixel art graphics and chiptune music. You're in control of a dual-firing submarine, trying to protect your kittens which are being kidnapped by mechanical sea creatures as they mine for milk. It features optional 2 player local co-op, limited-time power-ups, 3 campaign modes and an infinite mode. It also has a chain kill combo system, and online leader boards. A fun little game if you have some free time. :D

aaaa this game is so cute. LOVE IT!!!!
Puurrrfect entertainment ;)
Bought this when it was brand new and decided to give it a chance again today, still don't like it.

Nearly all upgrades are temporary with a very very short duration and don't feel like they contribute anything.
The enemies you're supposed to protect your allies from sometimes spawn directly on top of them.
Most of the difficulty is linked to enemy health, paired with your slow, low range, low damage main weapon... It's really just a slow, slow grind.
This game really was just not for me, and all I have left is sour milk.
