About
Rocky Idle is the first game I’ve developed, and it's been under development for 2,5 years, hope you enjoy it!
It's a single-player idle/incremental game. You level up 18 different skills simply by clicking a tree or a rock. You collect items that can be used to advance your character or level up other skills. You also have an active boost that can be activated once every 10 minutes; the boost becomes stronger and stronger as you progress.
Skilling
There are skills like Mining, Woodcutting, Crafting, and more.
Each skill serves its own purpose, use the rocks mined to smith stronger gear, and increase your max hit.
The more you use a resource, the stronger and more efficient it becomes, improving speed, batch size, and active boosts.
Background Farming & Passive Activities
Farming, and questing all run passively in the background once started.
Plant and harvest crops to craft potions.
The more you harvest, the more efficient your crops become, growing faster and yielding higher rewards over time.
Contracts
Contracts are rare drops from skilling and combat.
Complete specific tasks to receive keys.
Offline progress
Keep progressing even while you’re offline.
When you return, get a detailed summary of all the resources gathered and experience gained.

Automated Combat & Collection
Use your crafted gear, food and potions in automated battles.
The more you fight, the stronger your gear and boosts become.
Defeat monsters to fill your collection log and unlock upgrades.
Good luck getting little Rocky's Apron drop, it's quite rare.

Reviews
EDIT: Offline mode has been implemented since posting this review, along with some other changes that I need to experience before I can properly rewrite my review. The game would need some serious changes to the core engine for me to change to a positive review for the price point, but the dev is active and making positive changes, and responding to criticism in a positive way, which I can always highly respect. To front this review, I'm going to state the most damning (in my opinion) part of the game which is unacceptable. This game REQUIRES a server handshake in order to be able to play. Once you're connected, you can disconnect from the internet, but if the servers have issues validating your connection (which happened to me when I had a crash) or the servers go down, you CANNOT access your character. I found this out the hard way when I was unable to play for a while because the server didn't accept my connection. This is utterly unacceptable for a TOTALLY SINGLE PLAYER GAME, WITH NO COOP/COMPETITIVE ASPECTS WHATSOEVER. This means this is a single player game with a shelf life. Once the servers fail or go offline, it can no longer be played, period. Otherwise, the game is a relatively competant melvor-like, though missing a lot of depth the parent title has. Combat is basic, you have accuracy, evasion, and damage. No special moves, no set bonuses, and most weapons have the same attack speed. There are some sidegrades that attack 0.3s (about 15%) faster, but that's about it. There aren't really too exciting upgrades, because of this. It's just greater hit chance or evasion, and more damage. Enemies swap between attack types at random, with weights to certain attack types, so higher level enemies will likely have at least one attack you can't evade very well, though the damage is usually lower if you're matching the right attack style. Skills are oddly paced, some having higher max skill level requirements than others for items, though most maxing out content at 115/120 skill level, though it seems you can advance in skill level infinitely for no real gain whatsoever aside from combat skills. I like the quest and mastery system, where you'll unlock new things through quests, and you get greater skill speed and enemies killed per kill (3 kills per single actual kill at max, which is taken into account with quests), which I think is a good idea for making things go faster once you have a good amount of practice in any given node. It's lacking some late-game QoLs, and whilst you can make slaying tasks take longer to complete for greater rewards, you can't actually fully automate them, and you'll be doing a LOT of slaying to get everything. You can't automate farms, either, which is sorta annoying when trying to farm faster crops, but not a killer if you're a more active player. Overall, I'd give this a neutral review if the server wasn't required, but I'd avoid until those issues are fixed, at the bare minimum. There are much better Melvor-likes like Bloobs right now that offer a greater experience overall with similar price points.

Not a terrible game but there is way too much sloppiness here to really recommend it. I'm nearing the end game and throughout the game there are a bunch of issues: 1. Inventory is way too micro heavy. There are bags in the game to mitigate this, but some are clearly missing. The minig and smithing bag does not hold bars. Why? There is no crafting bag at all. Forgotten? Such a basic oversight. 2. Quests and achivements are a cool addition but after the early game there are barely any and each takes a full day just to pad the game time. The dev got lazy adding content half way through so they just made them long instead. It goes beyond that, tools become extremely sparse, money becomes meaningless, balancing basically stops half way through. 3. The late game bosses lack oompf. They have unique drops but it reqauires crazy grind and even after that these unique items are nothign special, no cool now unlocks or tying back to other features, just combat equipment with bigger numbers. Uninspired. 4. Pets are a cool addition but again, the dev didn't bother adding effects. Everything is just so half assed.
This is one of the best idle games on the market at the moment. The dev is very active both on discord and with updates to the game!
Title: A solid and relaxing incremental game with a steep achievement grind Review: Rocky Idle is a highly enjoyable and easy-to-understand incremental game that is perfect for playing in the background. The progression flow changes naturally the deeper you get into it: the early stage requires relatively active play since everything moves quite fast. Later on, it shifts into a true idle experience where you can comfortably let things run for 24 hours of offline time. The game offers a lot of variety, though the pacing varies. While the standard quests require moderate activity, the numerous contracts (Aufträge) demand a very active playstyle, which is why I am choosing to save them for later in my playthrough. My only real critique lies in the achievements. Currently, they require an excessive amount of time to complete—I am estimating around 500 to 1000 hours of playtime. In my opinion, this is a bit overkill and feels unnecessary, as it stretches far beyond what feels like the game's natural limit. Despite the heavy achievement grind, the game itself is a very solid experience. For the price, it is absolutely fair—especially if you pick it up during a sale. A great addition to any idle game collection!
Rocky Idle is one of those games that's easy to pick up but surprisingly hard to put down. It has that perfect "just one more upgrade" feeling that keeps you coming back without becoming overwhelming. The progression feels rewarding, and it's satisfying to watch your efficiency grow over time. Even when you're away, it feels like you're making meaningful progress, which is exactly what I look for in a good idle game. The visuals are clean, the interface is easy to understand, and the game respects your time. What really stands out is that the developer clearly cares about the game. The updates, polish, and overall attention to detail make it feel like a passion project rather than just another idle game. If you're a fan of incremental or idle games, Rocky Idle is definitely worth checking out. It's relaxing, rewarding, and has that addictive progression loop that keeps you saying, "Just one more upgrade." Looking forward to seeing where the game goes with future updates. Keep up the great work!
Very solid idle game, well worth the 10 bucks, nothing too original but enjoyable and rewarding. Developer takes input form players and the game is still developing. Late game grind is a little on the slow side but promises of more late game content have been made. I do also very much appreciate there are different difficulties to the game which you can change once from normal to easy if you think its too slow. I really hope there is an achevo for doing it on normal .
看介绍还不错,下载了试了更多是发现根本无法连接服务器 ,吓得我赶紧退款 ,各单位注意,小心被割韭菜
Better than Melvor! It has a Melvor / Runescape like gameplay loop without all of the complexity that makes Melvor feel bloated and overwhelming. It has months of gameplay. Progress can be made by checking in for a few minutes a day or by playing semi-actively on a second monitor if you prefer micro-managing and using speed buffs. The negative reviews about not having enough inventory space must not have realized that there is a bank which has far more space than the inventory does (Runescape-like inventory and bank system). There is a hardcore mode which disables the bank, but that is intended for players who want the extra challenge.
Not a huge fan of the AI art, but the sheer amount of content and things to do make up for it. Damn addicting game, just one more thing to max out repeat 100x
