Amazingly BAD
Polecam
Fun indie game, relaxing loot/kill zombies playtime! let you build and customize a base with a solid crafting system. The Dev lets you tweak the game settings (how many enemy's spawn and how strong they are, ect) So if you feel like the game is not challenging enough you can raise the bar for yourself. Game is not demanding but still looks and plays great! on a mid tier PC expect 120 to 150 fps.
good
great feel! good combat and ai
Nothing beats playing for hours, saving your progress thoroughly, game crashes, and all your saves are all of a sudden reverted back to day 2 and day 1, quicksaves included, autosaves turned on, lost 10+ hours of progress. Bogus as hell "Save" system you got there. Pretty upset that I lost all that stuff to be honest. Upset probably doesn't quite sum it up. I had so much progress... A base with a decent amount of stuff.... Nice gear and weapons........ WIPED! One crash... Bogus as hell... Was really liking this game too. Not even going to try playing again for a HOT minute because I will ALWAYS be worried about losing it all again.
If it's possible to have a cozy apocalypse sim, this is the cozy apocalypse. If you want atmospherics, puzzled out reasoning for progress, and the occassional brain eating monstrosity in your base build FPS, this is where it's at - it's fun, a little fuzzy around the edges, immersive, and a lot of "Today I decide my goals" opened solo RPG capacity. Is this run going to be the zombie clearer with enough ammo for a double taps for all? Or is it a survivor stealth creeping along to a base of safety? It's an actual open world experience where you get to decide what happens (apart from when the zombies decide when lunch is served)
